SLAM Completes Goodwin Drill Program Highlighted by New Discovery 2,000 Meters Northwest of Logan Zone and 1.53% Cu-Eq Over 14.45 Meters; New Slam President Hosting Exhibit at the 2026 New Orleans Investment Conference (NOIC)

SLAM reports 0.32-0.41% CuEq grades from the 2km-NW discovery, which remains unconfirmed.

Executive Summary

SLAM Exploration Ltd. (SXL) has released a recap of drill results from its 2026 Goodwin Cu-Ni-Co program, aggregating selected composited Cu-Eq 95% results for holes GW26-26 to GW26-43. The company noted that some of these results were included in previous news releases and are presented here together for completeness. The program scope included 19 NQ holes totaling 3,350 core-metres, drilled between June and October 5, 2026. All 17 completed holes hit sulphide, while GW26-35A and GW26-35B were abandoned at 20 m and 44 m, respectively.

Assays have been received for 857 of 1,070 core samples. The remaining 213 samples are pending from holes GW26-37 through GW26-43, leaving seven holes partly or wholly unreported.

Headline intercepts as reported, all core length with no true width or cutoff stated, include:

  • GW26-33: 14.45 m @ 1.54% Cu-Eq 95% (Cu 0.663%, Ni 0.717%, Co 0.059%) from 33.15 m to 47.6 m; incl. 1.90 m @ 3.35% and 4.90 m @ 2.52%.
  • GW26-29: 41.30 m @ 0.76% Cu-Eq (Cu 0.246%, Ni 0.312%, Co 0.081%) from 18.7 m to 60 m; incl. 29.85 m @ 0.96% and 22.80 m @ 1.05%; and 2.10 m @ 1.05% from 57.9 m to 60 m.
  • GW26-36 (the "new discovery," ~2,000 m NW of Logan): 43.10 m @ 0.44% Cu-Eq (Cu 0.136%, Ni 0.203%, Co 0.041%) from 125.9 m to 169 m; incl. 2.10 m @ 0.94%, 7.70 m @ 0.76%, 12.00 m @ 0.51%.
  • GW26-32: three zones — 48.00 m @ 0.32% (146-194 m), 10.00 m @ 0.38% (240-250 m), 26.00 m @ 0.24% (284-310 m).
  • GW26-27: 37.50 m @ 0.41% (37-74.5 m); incl. 16.90 m @ 0.50% — but the highlights text states "28.5 continuous core-meters grading 0.46%," which does not match the table.
  • GW26-30: 72.00 m @ 0.19% (119-191 m); incl. 9.50 m @ 0.31%.

Weak or barren results included GW26-26 and GW26-34, which returned best values of 0.407% and 0.493% Cu-Eq over 0.5 m. GW26-37 returned a best value of 0.524% over 0.5 m, and GW26-38 returned 0.326% over 1.3 m. GW26-28 and GW26-31 returned "disseminated pyrrhotite with narrow, lower-grade values."

In corporate news, new President/CEO Jimmy Gravel will exhibit at the New Orleans Investment Conference from October 28-31. Chairman Mike Taylor will present at EMP Fredericton.

Material Impact

SLAM Exploration Ltd. (SXL) released assay results for drill holes GW26-27, GW26-30, and GW26-32, which had previously been visual-only, along with updated composites restated at current price decks. The new assay data includes 0.41% over 37.5 m, 0.32% over 48 m, and 0.19% over 72 m. Headline intervals for GW26-33, GW26-29, and GW26-36 were previously disclosed in releases dated August 14, September 16, and October 23.

The company’s Logan-Granges cluster demonstrates a broad, low-grade envelope extending at least to 310 m downhole, with a low-grade halo identified 2 km to the northwest. The property’s expectation anchor remains GW24-02, which returned 64.90 m @ 2.19% CuEq, including 31.20 m @ 3.84% CuEq, published on August 7, 2024. This is reinforced by GW25-19, which returned 74.80 m @ 0.96% in December 2025.

Shares have declined from C$0.12–0.13 in late October 2025 to C$0.06, sitting at the 52-week low. Copper and cobalt prices in the company’s deck remain at elevated levels, suggesting the price fade reflects dilution rather than commodity weakness. The share count increased from 132.7 million at January 31, 2026, to 159.2 million at July 31, 2026, a 20% increase over six months. The company also carries a C$26.16 million accumulated deficit.

Financially, SLAM held C$1,333,844 in cash at July 31, 2026, against current liabilities of C$559,908, resulting in working capital of C$1.19 million. Exploration expenditure totaled C$1,064,636 over the six-month period, with SG&A at C$318,078. This provides approximately two to three quarters of runway at the current run-rate, funded by a March 2026 placement of 23.0 million units at C$0.09, accompanied by half- and full warrants at C$0.13, plus 2.7 million warrants at C$0.05 extended to April/May 2027. Advertising expenses in the MD&A rose to C$82,016 from C$3,994.
