SLAM Uncovers Antimony, Gold and Silver on Its Moose Lake Trenching Program
SLAM’s Moose Lake trenching confirms antimony and gold-silver zones as Goodwin drilling advances at its project.

SLAM Exploration Ltd. reported trenching results from its newly optioned Moose Lake project, confirming antimony mineralization exceeding 1.00% in three samples from the Skull epithermal zone. Grab samples from the Skull zone returned significant gold and silver values, up to 1.965 g/t Au and 73.50 g/t Ag, indicating a distinct gold-silver zone alongside the antimony. The Moose Lake zone has been traced over a 500m strike length and remains open in all directions, with historical data showing epithermal breccia-style mineralization over a 285m strike.
Drilling continues at the Goodwin Copper-Nickel-Cobalt project, with hole GW26-42 currently testing VTEM conductors on the Granges and Logan zones. A total of 36 grab samples were collected from trenches and prospecting sites, with assays pending at ALS laboratories.
SLAM Exploration Ltd. (SXL) released a standard, incremental exploration update following the April 2026 option agreement to acquire the Moose Lake antimony project. The reported antimony and gold-silver intercepts are consistent with historical data and early-stage trenching expectations. These results do not constitute a resource estimate, nor do they materially alter the project's economic viability at this stage.
The news aligns with previous expectations for surface sampling and trenching on the Moose Lake claims. It provides no new financial data, financing, or operational milestones that would shift the company's risk profile. The focus remains on the Goodwin project, where drilling is progressing as planned. The Moose Lake results are exploratory in nature and carry standard exploration risk.
SLAM Exploration Ltd. is a junior explorer focused on gold, base metals, and critical minerals in New Brunswick, Canada. Its flagship asset is the Goodwin Copper-Nickel-Cobalt project, which covers 14,000 hectares in the Bathurst Mining Camp. Historical drilling at Goodwin has returned intercepts such as 64.90m at 2.19% Cu-Eq.
The company’s portfolio also includes the Jake Lee (gold), Menneval (gold), Moose Lake (antimony), Harry Brook (gold-antimony), and Mine Road (copper-zinc) projects. All projects are in the exploration stage, and no mineral resources or reserves have been defined. Additionally, the company operates as a project generator, holding NSR royalties on the Wedge and Ramsay projects, with expectations for cash and share payments in 2026.
