SLAM Exploration Intersects New Discovery of Massive Sulphide Mineralization at Goodwin Copper-Nickel-Cobalt Project

SLAM Exploration Ltd. (SXL) has reported visual observations of sulphide mineralization in three new drill holes at its Goodwin copper-nickel-cobalt project, located 2,000 meters northwest of the Logan zone. The company highlighted hole GW26-36, which intersected a significant 67.4-meter interval of sustained pyrrhotite-chalcopyrite mineralization containing multiple discrete massive sulphide sub-intervals.

Hole GW26-36 was collared at an azimuth of 225° and a dip of -80°, completing at a depth of 212 meters. It intersected a broad 67.4-meter zone of sustained pyrrhotite-chalcopyrite mineralization from 124.4 meters to 191.8 meters. This interval hosts multiple discrete massive sulphide intervals, including:

  • 126.5-128.6 m
  • 140.7-142.0 m (Massive sulphide)
  • 142.35-142.4 m (Massive sulphide)
  • 144.5-144.7 m
  • 151.0-151.7 m (Massive sulphide)
  • 166.3-167.5 m (Massive sulphide)

Semi-massive sulphide was observed at 157-158 meters and 165.4-166.3 meters. The mineralization terminates at a gabbro contact at 191.8 meters. Additionally, a near-surface semi-massive sulphide interval was identified from 12.4 meters to 12.75 meters within broader disseminated mineralization from 10.8 meters to 12.4 meters.

Hole GW26-37 was collared at a nominal dip of -50° and completed to 286 meters. It intersected a discrete massive sulphide interval at 162.5-162.9 meters, predominantly pyrrhotite, within a broader disseminated envelope. Finely disseminated to locally netted-textured mineralization was logged from 174.5 meters to 195.7 meters.

Hole GW26-38 is the deepest hole to date at 338 meters, collared at -50°. It intersected a chalcopyrite-bearing interval at 158.2-160.2 meters. A netted-texture pyrrhotite-chalcopyrite sulphide interval was identified from 269.6 meters to 272.8 meters, with a further zone of netted to blebby mineralization logged at 281.9-282.6 meters.

The 2026 diamond drilling program is currently on a scheduled two-week mid-summer break but is set to resume next week to complete the planned 7,000-meter campaign. Samples from GW26-36, GW26-37, and GW26-38 have been submitted for analysis, with results pending.

SLAM Exploration Ltd. has been awarded a $60,000 grant by the Province of New Brunswick for the 2026 drilling campaign. Regarding the grant, the company stated: "SLAM Exploration Ltd. has been awarded a grant of $60,000 by the Province Of New Brunswick in support of the 2026 diamond drilling campaign on the Goodwin copper-nickel-cobalt project. The Company wishes to thank the Province for its continued support and recognition of the strategic mineral potential at Goodwin."

Quality control for the program includes 992 core samples collected from 12 completed holes (GW26-26 through GW26-38, excluding abandoned GW26-35). Certified reference standards and blanks were inserted at regular intervals, and all samples were collected, labelled, and sealed by SLAM field personnel.
