Slam Accepts Conditional Offtake Offer From Ocean Partners for 40,000 Wet Metric Tonnes of Zinc-Lead-Copper-Silver Ore From New Brunswick
SLAM secures a conditional offtake agreement, marking the first step toward revenue generation for the pre-revenue explorer.

SLAM Exploration Ltd. (SXL) has accepted a conditional offer from Ocean Partners USA to purchase approximately 40,000 wet metric tonnes (WMT) of polymetallic ore from its A'Hearn property in New Brunswick. The transaction is structured as an asset sale and royalty agreement, contingent on the receipt of provincial permits, environmental approvals, and successful refinery testing.
Extraction is targeted for Spring 2027, with pricing tied to LME/LBMA spot prices for copper, lead, zinc, and silver. Concurrently, the company is advancing exploration across its portfolio, which includes significant copper-nickel-cobalt intercepts at Goodwin, antimony-gold at Moose Lake, and high-grade gold at Jake Lee and Menneval.
SLAM Exploration Ltd. (SXL) has moved a step closer to monetizing its exploration efforts, transitioning the company from a pure project generator toward early-stage revenue generation. The offer involves a 40,000 WMT volume, a figure that is modest relative to typical mine-scale production and indicates a pilot or early-stage sale rather than a long-term commercial contract.
The deal is strictly conditional, lacking a definitive agreement and remaining subject to permitting and assay confirmation. Given the pre-revenue status and permitting hurdles, the market impact is likely incremental rather than transformative in the immediate term.
SLAM Exploration Ltd. (SXL) is a pre-revenue project generator and explorer focused on critical metals and precious metals in New Brunswick, Canada. Its flagship asset is the Goodwin Copper-Nickel-Cobalt Project, which spans 12,000-14,000 hectares. Recent drilling at Goodwin has highlighted broad, low-to-mid grade intervals with high-grade massive sulphide sub-intervals, extending the Farquharson and Logan zones.
The company’s portfolio also includes the Jake Lee project, characterized by high-grade gold veins; the Moose Lake project, which hosts antimony-gold-silver deposits; the Menneval project, known for historical high-grade gold; the Mine Road project, focused on copper-zinc; and the Harry Brook project, which contains gold-antimony. Additionally, SLAM Exploration operates as a project generator, holding NSR royalties on the Wedge and Ramsay projects, from which it expects cash and share payments.
