VIZSLA COPPER EXPANDS PALMER DRILL PROGRAM FOLLOWING ZONE 1 SUCCESS AND DISCOVERY AT HG PROSPECT
Vizsla awaits assays for visual palmer sulphides and program expansion, with no grades or re-rates currently available.

Vizsla Copper Corp. (VCU) issued a progress update on its drilling program at the Palmer Copper-Zinc VMS Project in Southeast Alaska, confirming that the initiative has expanded from 10,000 meters to approximately 12,250 meters. Through hole CMR26-213, the company has completed 18 holes totaling approximately 7,000 meters, with two diamond rigs currently active at the HG and AG prospects.
At Zone 1 in Palmer, hole CMR26-199 intersected a 49.2-meter visual mineralized interval from 305.0 meters to 354.2 meters downhole, with an estimated true thickness of approximately 39 meters. This interval contains semi-massive to massive chalcopyrite- and sphalerite-bearing sulphides with barite. Additionally, CMR26-201 intersected visual Zone 1 mineralization from approximately 340.0 meters to 379.2 meters downhole.
At the HG Prospect, CMR26-208 intersected 2 meters of visually identified massive sulphide from 181.5 meters to 183.5 meters downhole, containing sphalerite, pyrite, and barite with minor chalcopyrite and galena. Four additional holes intersected up to 20 meters of QSP-altered horizon with variable barite and base-metal sulphides.
At the AG Deposit, CMR26-211 intersected a broad visual interval from 140.2 meters to 248.2 meters downhole, encompassing more than 60 cumulative meters of semi-massive, massive, and barite-bearing massive sulphide. CMR26-213 intersected multiple visual intervals containing sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite, and tetrahedrite.
Assays are pending for the reported holes, with initial results from the July 20, 2026 program update expected shortly. The release cautions that visual observations are not necessarily indicative of grade or continuity.
Key reported observations include: - Program expanded from 10,000 m to approximately 12,250 m. - Through hole CMR26-213, 18 holes totaling approximately 7,000 m have been completed. - Zone 1, Palmer: CMR26-199 intersected a 49.2 m visual mineralized interval from 305.0 m to 354.2 m downhole, with estimated true thickness of approximately 39 m, containing semi-massive to massive chalcopyrite- and sphalerite-bearing sulphide with barite. CMR26-201 intersected visual Zone 1 mineralization from approximately 340.0 m to 379.2 m downhole. - HG Prospect: CMR26-208 intersected 2 m of visually identified massive sulphide from 181.5 m to 183.5 m downhole, containing sphalerite, pyrite and barite with minor chalcopyrite and galena. Four additional holes intersected up to 20 m of QSP-altered horizon with variable barite and base-metal sulphides. - AG Deposit: CMR26-211 intersected a broad visual interval from 140.2 m to 248.2 m downhole, with more than 60 cumulative meters of semi-massive, massive and barite-bearing massive sulphide. CMR26-213 intersected multiple visual intervals with sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite and tetrahedrite.
Vizsla Copper Corp. (VCU) is a pre-revenue junior explorer with a market capitalization of approximately C$138 million. As an exploration-stage company, its equity serves primarily as an option on exploration success across the Palmer, Poplar, Woodjam, and Copperview projects.
The most recent quantifiable market-moving result was the August 26, 2026 Woodjam Deerhorn release, which reported: * 266.0 m @ 0.97% Cu, including 48.5 m @ 3.32% Cu
Following this announcement, the stock moved from a close of C$1.33 on August 25 to C$1.38 on August 26, C$1.55 on August 27, and C$1.54 on August 28.
The current Palmer release contains no assay data and cannot be compared on grade or gram-metres to the Deerhorn anchor because it is a different project with no grades. The market is already aware that Palmer drilling is active and that Zone 1 visual sulphides were encountered; the July 20, 2026 update reported the same 49.2 m visual Zone 1 interval. The new elements are the HG visual discovery and the broad AG visual system, but neither is quantified.
A program expansion of 10,000 m to 12,250 m is modest, representing about 22.5%, and in part reflects faster drilling rather than a new geological breakthrough.
Vizsla Copper Corp. is a Vancouver-based copper-gold-molybdenum exploration and development company backed by Inventa Capital Corp. Its key assets include the 100%-owned Palmer VMS Project in Southeast Alaska, acquired from Constantine Metal Resources in December 2025; the Poplar Project in central BC, featuring the Thira porphyry copper-molybdenum discovery and the Poplar deposit; the Woodjam Project in central BC, which includes the Deerhorn, Three Firs, and Great Plains targets; and the Copperview Project in south-central BC, where the M5 porphyry target remains untested despite being permitted for drilling.
Reported resources include the following prior-period context: - Palmer indicated: 4.77 Mt @ 1.69% Cu and 5.17% Zn. - Palmer inferred: 12.0 Mt @ 0.57% Cu and 3.92% Zn. - AG inferred: 5.35 Mt @ 3.9% CuEq and 8.8% ZnEq. - Poplar indicated: 152.3 Mt @ 0.32% Cu and 0.09 g/t Au. - Deerhorn historical estimate: 32.8 Mt @ 0.22% Cu and 0.49 g/t Au, not treated as current.
Financial statements indicate the company is pre-revenue with a FY2026 net loss of approximately C$11.96 million and SG&A expenses of approximately C$12.87 million. The company holds approximately C$31.87 million in cash, C$29.05 million in working capital, and C$84.16 million in total equity, with total debt reported as zero in the latest balance sheet period. There are approximately 89.88 million shares outstanding.
