FireFox Gold Infill Drilling Continues to Build the East Zone, Including New Intercepts such as 14.1m @ 4.32 g/t Au, at Mustajarvi Project in Lapland, Finland
FireFox reports shallow infill gold in the East Zone, though the results lack the earlier discovery hole punch.

FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) has released assay results from six drill holes—26MJ012 through 26MJ017—drilled as infill and step-out operations on the southwest side of the Mustajarvi East Zone. The strongest result came from hole 26MJ016, which returned 14.1 meters averaging 4.32 g/t gold from 28.0 meters, including a 3.1-meter interval averaging 8.63 g/t gold.
Hole 26MJ012 returned several intervals, including 3.3 meters at 7.66 g/t gold, 2.0 meters at 14.72 g/t gold (including 1.0 meter at 29.0 g/t gold), and 9.2 meters at 1.17 g/t gold. Hole 26MJ015 returned 10.0 meters at 1.44 g/t gold, including 5.0 meters at 2.3 g/t gold, plus 3.0 meters at 2.52 g/t gold. Hole 26MJ017 intersected a narrow high-grade interval of 1.0 meter at 17.65 g/t gold from 173.4 meters.
Conversely, holes 26MJ013 and 26MJ014 returned weaker results, with best intervals of 3.2 meters at 0.35 g/t gold and 1.0 meter at 2.03 g/t gold, respectively. All reported intervals are core lengths with a cutoff grade of 0.3 g/t gold; true widths have not been estimated. No assays have yet been received from new targets outside the resource area, though management indicates results are expected within weeks.
FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) is a pre-resource explorer with no revenue, meaning its value is entirely driven by exploration news and the eventual maiden mineral resource estimate. The reported holes represent infill and resource-definition work rather than discovery drilling, so they do not transform the investment thesis by themselves.
Prior-period context not included in today’s release shows that the company reported a Q1 2026 net loss of C$2.14M, with cash at March 31, 2026, standing at C$1.97M. The company also closed additional private placement tranches in June-July 2026.
The stock has round-tripped from its March 2026 high of C$0.87 to C$0.47, indicating the market is not currently pricing in an exceptional repeat of the early-2026 bonanza holes. Against that low expectation, confirmation-style infill results at or above reasonable resource grade are mildly positive but not market-moving. The material catalyst remains the maiden mineral resource estimate, not these individual infill holes.
FireFox Gold Corp (TSXV:FFOX, OTCQB:FFOXF) is a junior gold explorer focused on the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt in Finland. Its flagship project, the 100%-held Mustajarvi property, is currently being drilled in preparation for a maiden resource estimate. The company’s other assets include the Sarvi, Jeesio, and early-stage Nunara, Naula, and Manto projects. Additionally, the Kolho project is optioned to Agnico Eagle, which is earning a 51% interest through US$5 million in exploration spending.
No mineral resources, reserves, or economic studies have been reported for the company. According to its investor presentation, FireFox Gold Corp has approximately 49.9 million shares outstanding and 82.6 million fully diluted shares.
