FireFox Gold Drills High-Grade and Visible Gold, including 7m @ 11.36 g/t Gold, in Northeast Zone Step-out Hole and Finds New Extensions at the Central Zone, Mustajarvi Project, Lapland, Finland
FireFox extends the NE Zone core 50m west and re-loads the Central Zone lode at shallow depth.

FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) has released assay results for seven drill holes at its 100%-owned Mustajävi orogenic gold project in Lapland, Finland. The reported intervals cover holes 26MJ024 through 26MJ030.
The primary hole, 26MJ030, serves as a step-out approximately 56 meters to the west-northwest from hole 26MJ005 in the Northeast Zone. Key intercepts in this hole include 2.0 meters grading 44.65 grams per tonne of gold (g/t Au) from a depth of 118.6 meters, and 7.0 meters grading 11.36 g/t Au from 199.0 meters, which includes a 1.0-meter interval of 57.9 g/t Au containing visible gold. Additional significant intervals in 26MJ030 consist of 11.5 meters at 1.11 g/t Au from 125.6 meters, 5.0 meters at 0.59 g/t Au from 169.0 meters, and 3.0 meters at 1.14 g/t Au from 210.0 meters.
Testing in the western portion of the Central Zone yielded results from holes 26MJ026 and 26MJ027. Hole 26MJ026 returned 3.95 meters at 6.57 g/t Au from 68.5 meters, including 0.75 meters at 14.45 g/t Au and 1.0 meter at 14.9 g/t Au; 1.15 meters of core loss was assigned 0.0 g/t. Hole 26MJ027 returned 3.1 meters at 2.22 g/t Au from 115.0 meters, including 0.95 meters at 6.02 g/t Au.
Holes 26MJ024, 26MJ025, 26MJ028, and 26MJ029 returned only low-grade or no significant mineralization. Assay results for 26MJ042, the second hole in the Northeast Zone fence, remain pending. The cutoff grade for these results is 0.3 g/t Au. All reported intervals represent core length, and true width has not been estimated.
FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) is a pre-resource, pre-revenue explorer with no economic study and no reserves. With a market capitalization of roughly C$27M, the company’s equity is small and highly sensitive to drill results. Drilling is advancing toward a maiden mineral resource estimate, expected within 12 months from the Q1 2026 MD&A, meaning successful step-out and extension holes directly affect the perceived resource scale.
This release is not a first discovery; the company has already reported several excellent intercepts and the share price re-rated earlier in 2026 from about C$0.59 to C$0.87. The current price of C$0.54 is about 38% below the March 2026 high and only modestly above the August 2026 low of C$0.40, indicating that the full discovery-driven multiple has unwound.
Against the embedded anchor, the result is not a miss. The 2m @ 44.65 g/t interval is broadly comparable to the earlier NE Zone anchor of 1.95m @ 54.91 g/t, though not better. The 7m @ 11.36 g/t is respectable. The market has not run up into this specific release, and the result adds genuine new ground: a 50m western extension of the high-grade NE Zone core plus renewed Central Zone encouragement.
The result is not a trivially expected infill result; it is a successful step-out with credible QA/QC. If 26MJ030 were the only result and the stock had already been priced for a major extension, this would be routine.
FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) is a Finland-focused gold explorer listed on the TSXV and OTCQB. Its flagship Mustajävi project is 100% owned, covers approximately 7.8 km², and is located along the Kittilä-Sodankylä highway in the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt. Mineralization at the site consists of orogenic gold hosted in shear zones, specifically within quartz-carbonate-tourmaline-pyrite veins found in strongly altered metasediments and ultramafic rocks.
The project features three principal zones—East, Northeast, and Central—with total drilling now exceeding 29,600m. Other assets include Sarvi, Jeesiö, and Kolho, along with several earlier-stage targets. Agnico Eagle is advancing the Kolho project under an earn-in agreement and is a cornerstone shareholder in FireFox Gold Corp. at roughly 11%. No mineral resources or reserves are currently defined at Mustajävi.
