FireFox Gold Expands Drill Program at Mustajarvi and Commences Drilling at the Sarvi Project in Lapland, Finland
FireFox completed drilling and expanded its dual-rig program at the Mustajärvi and Sarvi projects.

FireFox Gold Corp. has completed its initial diamond drilling campaign at the Mustajärvi project, totaling 56 holes and 13,945 metres. This volume significantly exceeds the initial 10,000-metre target. The company is now initiating a follow-up drilling campaign at the Sarvi project to test high-grade mineralization and new geophysical targets.
For the first time, two drill rigs will operate in parallel. One rig is stationed at Mustajärvi, where it will resume operations in early August for systematic in-fill drilling, while the second operates at Sarvi. Analytical data is expected for 25 of the completed holes.
In a corporate update, FireFox Gold Corp. granted 1,430,000 stock options to employees, consultants, and directors. The options carry an exercise price of $0.55 per share, issued at a premium to the prior day's closing price of $0.50. The options expire five years from the date of grant.
FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) has completed 13,945 metres of drilling at its Mustajärvi project, a milestone that aligns with previously announced exploration plans rather than representing a new discovery or a change in project economics. The company has also initiated drilling at Sarvi and deployed a second rig, signaling operational momentum and management’s confidence in the district-scale potential of the area. These activities are incremental steps toward the maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) previously targeted for mid-2026.
Additionally, the company granted stock options as part of a standard equity compensation practice, issued at a slight premium. This grant is not expected to materially impact the share price or capital structure. Given the stock's recent downtrend and the expected nature of the drilling completion, the market impact is likely muted, serving as a routine follow-up to the aggressive exploration program announced throughout 2025 and early 2026.
FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) is a Canadian exploration company focused on gold projects in the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt of Finland. Its flagship Mustajärvi project is 100% owned and covers 7.8 km², featuring three known mineralized zones—East, Northeast, and Central—over more than 2.1 km of strike. High-grade intercepts at the site include 1.0m @ 188.5 g/t Au and 12.4m @ 13.75 g/t Au, with the company currently advancing toward a maiden mineral resource estimate.
The company also holds other projects, including Sarvi (100%, adjacent to Rupert Resources' Ikkari deposit), Jeesiö (100%, 71 km² on a major district-scale structure), and Kolho (optioned to Agnico Eagle, >120 km²). FireFox Gold Corp. is in the pre-resource exploration stage, with no economic studies or revenues to date.
