FireFox Gold Hits 16.6m at 5.83 g/t Gold in 200m Step-Out at New Lammas Zone, Mustajarvi Project, Lapland, Finland
FireFox’s Lammas step-out hole matches discovery grade, confirming continuity despite the market fading the initial price pop.

FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) reported assay results for two follow-up holes, 26MJ033 and 26MJ035, at the new Lammas Zone, located approximately 1 km east of the main Mustajärvi trend. These results extend the defined strike of the new zone to approximately 260 m.
Hole 26MJ035, collared 199 m northeast of discovery hole 26MJ032, returned 16.6 m averaging 5.83 g/t Au from 72.45 m. This interval includes 1.05 m at 51.5 g/t, 1.0 m at 8.32 g/t, and 1.1 m at 9.61 g/t. The hole also intersected narrow footwall intervals, with the best being 1.0 m at 1.13 g/t at 210.15 m.
Hole 26MJ033, located 59 m southwest of discovery hole 26MJ032, returned 0.9 m at 5.27 g/t from 64.2 m, 1.0 m at 3.52 g/t from 130.45 m, and 5.0 m averaging 1.03 g/t from 141.5 m.
For context, the release restates the results from discovery hole 26MJ032, which returned 21.0 m at 4.13 g/t from 114.0 m, plus 4.2 m at 3.41 g/t.
Up to eight further holes are planned at Lammas. Total project drilling is now 30,314 m. The stated cutoff is 0.3 g/t Au; true width was not estimated, and all intervals are core width. Qualified Person Patrick Highsmith (AIPG CPG #11702) is responsible for the data, with ALS labs named and QA/QC disclosed.
FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) is currently in the pre-resource exploration phase, with a maiden resource expected in early 2027. The company reported a working capital surplus of approximately C$1.27 million as of March 31, 2026, following the burn of roughly C$2.1 million in the first quarter of 2026. This position was subsequently bolstered by a C$6.7 million placement in June 2026.
The market’s previous reaction to the discovery hole 26MJ032, published on September 16, 2026, provides context for the current release. That hole returned 21.0 meters at 4.13 g/t, including an 86.7 g.m single interval. Following the announcement, the stock closed at $0.50 on September 15, 2026, before spiking to between $0.63 and $0.67 and peaking at $0.85 on September 18, 2026. It subsequently declined to $0.58 by October 13, 2026, leaving the share price only approximately 16% above the pre-discovery level.
The latest results include drill hole 26MJ035, which intercepted 16.6 meters at 5.83 g/t, yielding 96.8 g.m. This represents a 199-meter step-out from the anchor hole and extends the strike to approximately 260 meters. The grade in 26MJ035 is materially higher than the anchor, and the gram-meter value is comparable to or better than the previous discovery. However, the second hole in the release, 26MJ033, returned weaker results, confirming the discovery rather than opening a wholly new dimension.
