Brasnova Energy Materials Inc. Advances Capela Gold Project Through Expanded Sampling and Follow-Up of Additional Prospective Areas
Brasnova advances sampling at its Brazilian gold project despite a critically thin cash runway.

Brasnova Energy Materials Inc. (BEM) has issued an exploration update regarding its Capela Gold Project in Bahia, Brazil. The company submitted five analytical batches totaling 110 samples to SGS Geosol. This submission included 52 rock samples, 14 stream sediment samples, and 44 soil samples, which also encompassed QA/QC materials. Additional soil sampling is currently underway.
Previous rock chip results confirmed gold mineralization within metagranodioritic rocks. Of the 23 samples analyzed, 22 returned values of 0.241 g/t Au or higher, with a peak result of 4.13 g/t Au. New follow-up sampling is targeting the interpreted extension of the known mineralized system as well as newly identified quartz-vein occurrences located outside the original target area. Results are pending receipt, compilation, and internal QA/QC review.
Brasnova Energy Materials Inc. (BEM) issued a direct follow-up to its July 14, 2026 announcement of initial rock chip results and the May 11, 2026 initiation of field activities. The update confirms that management is executing the planned exploration program, which includes systematic soil and stream sampling as previously outlined.
The company has not yet disclosed new assay results, as it is still awaiting analytical data from the 110 submitted samples. While the identification of new quartz-vein occurrences at Prospect MJ-144 is noted, these findings require assay confirmation to be considered material.
Brasnova Energy Materials Inc. is an early-stage critical materials explorer focused on developing a vertically integrated supply chain in Brazil for LFP, LMFP, and LMR battery technologies. The company’s flagship asset is the Capela Gold Project, a 3,935.25-hectare property in Bahia targeting gold mineralization hosted in sheared, hydrothermally altered granitic to granodioritic rocks.
Other assets include the Gloria Manganese Project, Rio Claro Titanium-Iron Project, Jucurutu Copper Project, Pernambuco Copper Project, and the Piaui Verde Phosphate Project. Management emphasizes alignment with Brazil’s national sovereignty policy on strategic minerals.
