Brasnova Energy Materials Inc. Capela Gold Project Returns up to 4.13 g/t Gold from Rock Chip Sampling

Brasnova’s early-stage gold sampling at Brazil’s Capela Project validates a mineralized corridor, confirming the presence of gold mineralization within the deposit.

Executive Summary

Brasnova Energy Materials Inc. announced analytical results from 23 rock chip samples collected at the Capela Gold Project in Bahia, Brazil. Twenty-two of the 23 samples returned gold values above 0.241 g/t Au, with a peak assay of 4.13 g/t Au from sample BGP-ROCK-002. The sampling defines a mineralized north-south-trending corridor approximately 120 meters long and up to 25 meters wide.

Mineralization is hosted in sheared, hydrothermally altered granitic to granodioritic rocks, showing potassic alteration, silicification, and sulphidation. Sulphide mineralization is dominated by disseminated pyrite (1-3% by volume), with subordinate chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. Geochemical analysis indicates enrichment in Au, Cu, Zn, Pb, Ag, As, and Mo, consistent with a polymetallic hydrothermal system.

Samples were analyzed by SGS laboratory using fire assay for gold and ICP-OES/MS for multi-element analysis, with standard QA/QC protocols. The Qualified Person notes the next steps are stream sediment sampling and additional ground geochemical/geophysical surveys to delineate the extent of mineralization.

Material Impact

Brasnova Energy Materials Inc. (BEM) released an incremental exploration update that validates previous reconnaissance results from May 2026, which identified up to 1.37 g/t Au, and confirms the presence of a sulphide-associated hydrothermal system. The company noted that the release does not constitute a resource estimate, drill result, or economic evaluation, emphasizing that rock chip sampling is a surface-level activity that identifies anomalies but does not define subsurface or grade continuity.

The news follows the logical progression of the NI 43-101 technical report initiation announced in March 2026. No material change to the company's financial position, project economics, or near-term catalysts is introduced.
