Sego Resources Selects Drill Holes and Prepares for Drilling Strong Chargeability Anomalies Deep Below the Cuba and South Gold Zone Mineralization Mid-October
Sego launches a fully funded 2,000m drill program targeting deep porphyry anomalies at the Miner Mountain project.

Sego Resources Inc. has identified drill sites for a fully funded 2,000-meter diamond drill program scheduled to begin in mid-October 2026 at its Miner Mountain project in British Columbia. The program targets deep Induced Polarization (IP) chargeability anomalies identified via 3D inversion analysis beneath the Cuba and South Gold Zones.
Three specific holes are planned:
- Hole CG1 (Cuba Zone): Targets deep chargeability high at ~440m depth, drilling south at 55 degrees to extend >690m below the model high.
- Hole C2 (Cuba Zone): Targets chargeability high at ~600m depth, drilling northeast.
- Hole A (South Gold Zone): Targets a medium-depth chargeability high potentially linked to deeper porphyry copper mineralization.
Historical drill intercepts are provided for context, highlighting intervals of copper and gold mineralization at depth. Quality Assurance/Quality Control protocols include certified reference samples, duplicates, blanks, and regular check assays. Tor Bruland, P.Geo., is the Qualified Person.
Sego Resources Inc. (SGZ) announced a drill program that serves as a direct follow-up to its September 24, 2026 release detailing the completion of the 3D IP Volterra survey. The company confirmed that the program is fully funded through its June 2026 flow-through financing.
This initiative represents an expected, incremental exploration step designed to test geophysical targets. No new assay results or resource estimates are provided with this announcement. The market likely anticipated this drilling plan given the prior completion of the IP survey and the associated funding announcements.
Sego Resources Inc. (SGZ) is an exploration-stage junior focused on the Miner Mountain project, a 2,056-hectare alkalic copper-gold porphyry property located 15 km north of Hudbay Minerals' Copper Mountain mine in British Columbia. The project features two primary targets: the South Gold Zone, which contains near-surface disseminated gold mineralization, and the Cuba Zone, which holds deeper porphyry copper-gold potential with historical intercepts showing copper and gold at depth. The company holds a memorandum of understanding with the Upper Similkameen Indian Band and has received an award of excellence for reclamation work.
