Signature Resources Announces Final Drill Results and Commencement of Prospecting Field Program on Regional Claims
Signature’s low-grade west-zone intercepts failed to spark a rally as cash reserves dwindle.

Signature Resources Ltd. (SGU) has completed its 2025-26 winter drill program at the Lingman Lake Gold Deposit, comprising nine holes for a total of 4,006 meters. The program focused on testing the western extension of the deposit west of a diabase dike, successfully intercepting predicted structural zones and gold mineralization.
Grades intercepted west of the dike were generally anomalous but low-grade, confirming structural continuity rather than high-grade expansion. The company identified significant undrilled areas at depth, specifically Target Areas A, B, and D, which could expand the resource in future programs.
Additionally, a 30-day prospecting field program has commenced in "Area 5," located 15 km west of Lingman Lake, targeting historical base metal and gold showings. Signature Resources will present at the Emerging Growth Conference on August 19, 2026.
Signature Resources Ltd. (SGU) released drill results that were expected and incremental, validating the geological model without delivering high-grade intercepts that would materially upgrade the resource. Low-grade results west of the dike limit immediate upside and suggest that lateral expansion will require additional drilling and metallurgical validation.
The stock price has already declined from $0.11 to $0.03 over the past six months, pricing in the exploration risk and cash burn. This release does not provide a catalyst to reverse the downtrend.
Signature Resources Ltd. is an exploration-stage gold company focused on the 100%-owned Lingman Lake Gold Project in the Red Lake District, Ontario. The land package covers 24,821 hectares, representing approximately 85% of the Lingman Lake Greenstone Belt. The project features historical underground infrastructure, including a 131-meter shaft and three levels at 46m, 84m, and 122m depths. Historical production totaled 60,865 ounces at an average grade of 14.1 g/t Au.
A new 115-kV transmission line has been energized within 40 km of the mine, improving infrastructure access. The current mineral resource estimate (May 31, 2025) includes:
- 2.146 million tonnes indicated at 1.38 g/t Au (95,200 oz)
- 18.398 million tonnes inferred at 1.14 g/t Au (674,320 oz)
