Drill Results

Signature continues winter drilling at Lingman Lake

SGU · Price

Executive Summary

  • Signature Resources Ltd. released initial results from its winter drill program at the Lingman Lake gold project, highlighting the intersection of a new potential mineralized zone and confirming geological models for existing zones.
  • Drill hole LM 25-04 intersected a significant new anomaly: a 19-meter zone of strong quartz-chlorite-carbonate vein breccia with shearing and sulphide mineralization, coinciding with a historic VLF conductor located 250 meters south of previous drilling.
  • Holes LM 25-01 and LM 25-02 tested zones downdip on the eastern edge of known mineralization, encountering variable gold grades ranging from 0.10 g/t to 3.33 g/t Au, supporting the company's geologic modeling and predictive vectoring for future exploration.

Key Details

  • Drill Program Status: The winter program began in November 2025 with 8 holes planned for ~3,900 m. As of the release, 1,950 m had been completed. Drilling resumed on Feb. 5 after a holiday break.
  • New Zone Intersection (LM 25-04):
    • Intersected ~19 m of strong quartz-chlorite-carbonate vein breccia with variable strong shearing and sulphide mineralization from 72.0 m to 91.0 m.
    • This structure coincides with a Very-Low-Frequency (VLF) conductor with a strike length of 1,700 m east-west, located ~250 m south of historic drilling.
    • The company plans to test the western section of this conductor with two additional shallow drill holes.
    • Completion of LM 25-04 is imminent; core logging and sample preparation are underway.
  • Hole LM 25-01 (Extension of LM 24-05):
    • Total depth: 599 m.
    • Intent: Test low-resistivity anomaly and intercept central/south gold zones.
    • Observations: Wide mafic volcanic package with silicification, pyrrhotite stringers, and quartz brecciated veinlets.
    • Intercepts: 14 one-meter intervals >0.10 g/t Au from 478 m to 564 m.
    • Highest value: 2.51 g/t Au from 530 m to 531 m.
  • Hole LM 25-02:
    • Total depth: 530 m.
    • South Gold Zone (315 m to 351 m): 8 one-meter intercepts >0.10 g/t Au, ranging from 0.10 g/t to 0.96 g/t Au.
    • Central/North Gold Zones (405 m to 471 m): 8 one-meter intercepts >0.10 g/t Au, ranging from 0.11 g/t to 3.33 g/t Au.
    • Unmodelled Ultramafic Zone (279 m to 282 m): Average grade of 0.18 g/t Au.
  • Operational Updates:
    • Assay labs are capacity-constrained, causing delays in data compilation.
    • Results for 152 samples from LM 25-03 are outstanding; remaining samples from this hole are being prepared at SGS Red Lake and will be sent to SGS Burnaby for assaying.
  • Company Context:
    • Lingman Lake property consists of ~24,821 hectares in the Red Lake district, Ontario.
    • Previous Mineral Resource Estimate (May 31, 2025): 2,145,000 tonnes @ 1.38 g/t Au (Indicated) and 18,398,000 tonnes @ 1.14 g/t Au (Inferred).
    • Historical bulk samples averaged 19 g/t Au.
