Great Pacific Gold Provides Wild Dog Drilling Update as Exploration Advances to Elamaraka
Great Pacific advances drilling to Elamaraka as high-grade surface targets await assay validation.

Great Pacific Gold Corp. (GPAC) released an operational update on its Wild Dog Project in Papua New Guinea as of November 4, 2026. The company has completed 16 diamond drill holes, totaling approximately 3,600 meters, at the Magiabe and Mengmut targets. Drilling at Mengmut successfully intersected the targeted structural corridor over approximately 850 meters of strike, establishing geological continuity, although economic grade remains unconfirmed pending assay results.
Maiden drilling commenced on October 30, 2026, at the Elamaraka-Kargalio (EK) Target Area. Hole ELM001 is planned to reach a depth of approximately 300 meters to test the southeast-dipping Elamaraka vein. MobileMT geophysics has identified resistive anomalies spatially associated with surface mineralization, with the Elamaraka lineament interpreted to extend to approximately 450 meters depth. Surface sampling history at EK has previously shown high-grade results, including 9.0 m @ 4.81 g/t Au at Elamaraka and 6.0 m @ 7.29 g/t Au at Kargalio.
No new assay results are reported in this release. All assays for the completed holes remain pending validation and will be released in complete batches. Regional exploration continues along the approximately 5 km southern extension of the Wild Dog corridor, with mapping and sampling ongoing in the South Zone.
Great Pacific Gold Corp. (GPAC) has released a standard operational progress update that aligns with its previously communicated 2026 exploration plan. The company has completed drilling at Magiabe and Mengmut and commenced maiden drilling at Elamaraka, confirming its strategy to advance multiple targets along the 15 km structural corridor.
The update provides confirmation of high-grade surface targets at Elamaraka and the successful intersection of the Mengmut structural corridor, which establishes a pathway for future assay releases. However, the absence of assay results means that the geological models and structural continuity intersected remain unverified. The information is considered incremental and expected, maintaining the exploration pipeline and validating the company's operational pace without introducing new valuation drivers or de-risking the project.
Market reaction has already discounted the exploration activity, as reflected in the stock's decline from $0.61 to $0.12 over the past nine months despite extensive drilling. The update supports the ongoing exploration thesis but does not alter the fundamental risk profile.
Great Pacific Gold Corp. (GPAC) is a pre-revenue exploration-stage company focused on the Wild Dog Project in East New Britain, Papua New Guinea. The project features a 15 km structural corridor hosting multiple epithermal gold-copper and porphyry targets, including Sinivit, Kavasuki, Kasie Ridge, Magiabe, Mengmut, and the Elamaraka-Kargalio area.
The company operates two diamond drill rigs to systematically test the corridor, expand the mineralized footprint, and advance toward resource definition. No known mineral resources or reserves have been declared. The company relies on continuous exploration and capital raises to fund its operations.
