Great Pacific Gold Expands High-Grade Elamaraka and Kargalio Gold Systems at Wild Dog
Great Pacific expands the high-grade Wild Dog vein footprint with steady channel sampling results across the deposit.

Great Pacific Gold Corp. has released channel-sampling and geological mapping results from the Elamaraka and Kargalio vein systems, collectively known as the EK Target Area, at its Wild Dog Project in Papua New Guinea.
Elamaraka channel sampling returned 9 m @ 4.81 g/t Au, 41.96 g/t Ag, and 0.02% Cu, with peak intervals of 26.86 g/t Au and 233.4 g/t Ag. Kargalio channel sampling returned 6 m @ 7.29 g/t Au, 12.83 g/t Ag, and 0.24% Cu, including a 2 m interval @ 16.20 g/t Au.
Geological mapping indicates both systems are broader corridors of multiple quartz-sulphide veins rather than single historical veins, with resistivity lineaments extending to approximately 450m depth. The company has mobilized to the previously underexplored South Zone, clearing access tracks and targeting prospects like Lost Dog, Steel Creek, and Cut-hand Creek.
Two diamond drill rigs are actively operating at Wild Dog, with a pipeline of high-quality targets being refined for future drill testing. QA/QC protocols are standard, though the release explicitly notes that true widths are unknown and reported intervals represent surface lengths.
Great Pacific Gold Corp. (GPAC) reported results consistent with its ongoing high-grade exploration narrative at Wild Dog, following similar channel and drill results at Sinivit, Kavasuki, and Magiabe throughout 2025 and early 2026. The company characterized the findings as an incremental, expected step in district-scale exploration rather than a transformative discovery. Surface channel sampling expands the interpreted footprint but does not yet define a resource or significantly alter the geological model.
The news aligns with previous expectations of a multi-target, multi-rig exploration campaign. While the release reinforces the district-scale potential, it lacks the drill-depth data or resource definition required to materially impact valuation. Given the pre-revenue status and lack of defined resources, the release represents routine positive exploration progress.
Great Pacific Gold Corp. (GPAC) is a pre-revenue exploration company focused on the Wild Dog Project in East New Britain, Papua New Guinea. The flagship project features a 15-kilometer structural corridor hosting epithermal gold-copper veins and potential porphyry systems. Key targets include Sinivit, noted for high-grade shoots; Kavasuki, a broad epithermal vein; Magiabe, a porphyry target; Kasie Ridge, a high-sulphidation lithocap; and the newly expanded EK Target Area.
The company operates two diamond drill rigs and has completed extensive surface mapping, trenching, channel sampling, and MobileMT geophysics. No mineral resources or reserves have been defined to date. The company is in the advanced exploration phase, targeting resource definition and eventual feasibility studies.
