Great Pacific Gold Confirms Broad Shallow Gold Mineralization at Kavasuki and Defines Priority Targeting Window Across Wild Dog

Great Pacific’s Kavasuki drilling capped the mineralized window at approximately 70m vertical depth, with deeper holes returning barren results.

Executive Summary

Great Pacific Gold Corp. (GPAC) has completed its maiden diamond drill program at Kavasuki within the Wild Dog Project in Papua New Guinea, drilling 12 holes for a total of 1,844.8 meters. The company released this final program wrap-up and restatement, noting it is not a new discovery release.

The company reported core-length intercepts using a 0.3 g/t AuEq lower cut, a minimum interval of 2.0 meters, and a maximum of 2.0 meters internal dilution. The results include:

  • KVH-01: 58.90 m @ 2.43 g/t Au from 38.60 m, including 4.60 m @ 8.24 g/t Au; also 18.10 m @ 2.08 g/t Au from 100.60 m, including 1.20 m @ 17.93 g/t Au
  • KVH-03: 38.40 m @ 2.07 g/t Au from 12.30 m, including 2.20 m @ 15.78 g/t Au
  • KVH-04: 59.90 m @ 1.38 g/t Au from 8.70 m, including 14.00 m @ 2.70 g/t Au
  • KVH-05: 29.50 m @ 0.38 g/t Au from 15.20 m
  • KVH-06: 5.20 m @ 1.02 g/t Au from 22.40 m
  • KVH-12: 3.50 m @ 1.00 g/t Au from 12.00 m and 11.50 m @ 0.73 g/t Au from 74.95 m

Holes KVH-02 and KVH-07 through KVH-11 returned no significant intercepts. True widths are not known, and all reported intervals are core lengths.

Great Pacific Gold states that the strongest gold is concentrated from the surface to roughly 70 meters vertical depth, while the vein structure continues below that but with low metal and pathfinder tenor. Additionally, the historical 3DIP chargeability anomaly is now interpreted as disseminated pyrite in volcanic-siltstone rather than gold mineralization. Rigs have since moved to Magiabe and Mengmut.

Material Impact

Great Pacific Gold Corp. (GPAC) has completed its maiden Kavasuki program, a release that confirms previously reported data rather than introducing new discoveries. The company’s best intercepts were already detailed in March and April 2026. The latest results highlight the failure of deep step-out holes and a reinterpretation of the chargeability anomaly as pyrite.

The data suggests that Kavasuki is a shallow, broad, low-grade zone with limited vertical extent, rather than a large continuous volume. The anchor result, KVH-01 at 143 g-m Au, remains embedded only weakly in the current share price. The stock has round-tripped from C$0.66 to C$0.25 and now sits at C$0.31, near its 52-week low.

For a pre-resource explorer with a basic market cap near C$60 million, the release confirms known grades, adds weak new holes, and caps depth.

Company Overview

Great Pacific Gold Corp. (GPAC) is a pre-revenue, pre-resource gold-copper explorer focused on Papua New Guinea. Its flagship Wild Dog Project covers the 15 km Wild Dog structural corridor on New Britain. Targets and prospects include Sinivit, Kavasuki, Kasie Ridge, Magiabe, Mengmut, Morgan and EK. The company also holds Kesar, Arau and Tinga Valley projects. Walhalla was spun out in December 2025; GPAC retained a 2% NSR on the Walhalla project. No mineral resources or reserves are currently reported.

Financial context: Q1 2026 cash was C$7.08 million; a C$20 million public offering closed in April 2026. The April 2026 presentation disclosed C$26.3 million cash as of 2 April 2026. The company is funded for near-term drilling but remains dependent on future capital raises.
