Great Pacific Gold Commences Drilling High-Grade Surface Targets at Magiabe and Completes Current Kasie Ridge Program
Great Pacific’s Wild Dog drilling advances while Kasie Ridge assays remain pending and the stock tests critical support levels.

Great Pacific Gold Corp. has commenced diamond drilling at the Magiabe Vein target at its Wild Dog Project in Papua New Guinea. The Magiabe program consists of up to 11 holes for approximately 2,240 meters, targeting the main Magiabe Vein and the newly discovered high-grade Magiabe West Vein. Drill holes are designed to test the interpreted geometry and continuity of the veins, with MGH001 targeting the main vein beneath surface exposures and MGH002 targeting the high-grade Magiabe West discovery.
The company has also completed its maiden Kasie Ridge drill program, consisting of two holes (KAS01 and KAS02). Visual geological observations at Kasie Ridge indicate intense silicification and alteration consistent with a high-sulphidation epithermal system. Assay results are pending, with a comprehensive update expected in late August 2026.
Rock-chip samples from the Magiabe West Vein returned up to 137 g/t Au, 76 g/t Ag, and 3.97% Cu. Channel sampling returned 8.0 m @ 17.10 g/t Au.
Great Pacific Gold Corp. (GPAC) issued a standard operational update confirming the start of a planned drill program and the completion of a prior one. High-grade surface sampling at Magiabe West was previously disclosed in February 2026, meaning the information is not new.
Assay results for Kasie Ridge, which could materially alter the geological model, remain pending until late August 2026. The company’s financial position, capital structure, and near-term catalysts have not changed beyond what was already communicated. It represents an incremental, expected step in the exploration timeline.
Great Pacific Gold Corp. (GPAC) is a pre-revenue exploration company focused on the Wild Dog Project in East New Britain, Papua New Guinea. The flagship project features a 15-kilometer structural corridor hosting epithermal gold-copper veins and potential porphyry systems. Key targets include Sinivit, Kavasuki, Kasie Ridge, and Magiabe.
The company has no known mineral resources or reserves. Exploration is in the advanced discovery phase, with drilling aimed at testing continuity and expanding the geological footprint. The company also holds the Kesar Project, which is adjacent to K92 Mining's Kainantu mine, and the Arau Project, but Wild Dog remains the primary focus.
