Homerun Resources Inc. Completes Acquisition of 442.7-Hectare Fazenda Land Package in Santa Maria Eterna, Bahia, Brazil
Homerun closes a 442-hectare land deal to secure feedstock for its Bahia solar glass hub.

Homerun Resources Inc. has completed the acquisition of a 442.7-hectare land package known as Fazenda Conjunto São José e Nova Esperança in the Santa Maria Eterna silica sand district of Bahia, Brazil. The total consideration for the transaction was US$1.1 million, paid through a combination of US$500,000 in cash and 864,055 common shares.
The newly acquired property is adjacent to the company’s planned industrial site, a move that strengthens Homerun Resources’ district-scale control over silica purification and solar glass manufacturing operations. The land overlaps portions of third-party claims, including approximately 59% of Silica Del Pietro claims and roughly 27.5% of CBPM/Jundu claims. The transaction also includes the transfer of customary Brazilian mineral lease and royalty rights for third-party exploration.
This acquisition follows the February 2026 announcement of a purchase agreement for 582 hectares, with final registered documentation reducing the size of the package to 442.7 hectares.
Homerun Resources Inc. (HMR) completed the acquisition of the target property, marking the final step in a transaction previously announced to the market. The deal involved a reduction in acreage from 582 to 442.7 hectares, a change attributed to final registration requirements. This adjustment provides direct surface control adjacent to the industrial site, a move intended to de-risk the long-term development of the solar glass plant and advanced materials hub. No new financial metrics, partnerships, or operational breakthroughs were disclosed in the release.
Homerun Resources Inc. (HMR) is developing a vertically integrated clean energy platform focused on high-purity silica, solar glass manufacturing, energy storage, and AI-enabled energy solutions. The company’s flagship project is the Santa Maria Eterna (SME) Silica Sand District in Belmonte, Bahia, Brazil, where it controls over 200 million tonnes of high-purity silica sand containing greater than 99.6% SiO2.
The strategic plan outlines a three-phase purification platform targeting 3N (industrial grade), 4N (advanced purified), and 5N (ultra-high purity) silica. As part of its downstream integration, Homerun Resources plans to build Latin America's first dedicated 1,000-tonne/day antimony-free solar glass manufacturing facility, leveraging local feedstock and state tax incentives. The company has established technology partnerships with CEITEC for silicon carbide substrates, UC Davis for laser purification, NREL for thermal energy storage, and SORG Group for glass manufacturing technology.
