Kairos Gold Reports Hole 1 & 2 Assay Results from Phase Three Drilling Program at Oro Brillante
Kairos reports wide but low-grade copper halos in Phase 3 drilling, while gold anchor holes missed the target zone.

Kairos Gold Inc. (KIRO) has released assay results from the first two holes of its Phase Three drilling program at the Oro Brillante concession, part of the Las Garillas project in Chile’s Coquimbo Region. The infill-and-depth initiative is designed to support a future resource estimate.
Results from hole OB-26-02 include the following downhole intervals:
- 10 m @ 1.06 g/t Au, 24.20 g/t Ag, 0.01% Cu (12–22 m)
- 7.5 m @ 0.82 g/t Au, 41.50 g/t Ag, 0.71% Cu (26.5–34 m)
- 14 m @ 0.94 g/t Au, 3.50 g/t Ag, 0.06% Cu (109–123 m)
- 2 m @ 5.28 g/t Au, 6 g/t Ag, 0.12% Cu (115–117 m, inside the 14 m)
- 20 m @ 0.96 g/t Au, 12.50 g/t Ag, 0.35% Cu (135–155 m)
The headline interval for OB-26-02 is 130.5 m @ 0.12 g/t Au, 7.30 g/t Ag, 0.43% Cu (157–287.5 m), which includes 12.6 m @ 0.16 g/t Au, 22.40 g/t Ag, 1.53% Cu (242–254.6 m).
Hole OB-26-01 returned no significant assay results and was described as providing geological context only.
Two of the 11 Phase Three holes have been reported. Approximately 330 samples from holes 3–5 were dispatched on September 25, 2026, while holes 6–11 remain pending.
All reported lengths are downhole; no true width, cutoff grade, or capping disclosure was provided. Samples were assayed by 3A Analytical in Santiago, with gold analyzed via fire assay and silver/multi-element analysis conducted using ICP-AES. The Qualified Person is Rodrigo Vásquez Amin, P.Geo.
Kairos Gold Inc. (KIRO) is a pre-resource explorer with a market capitalization of approximately C$36 million. The company’s recent release represents an infill and depth test that reproduces a known, low-grade gold system and a known copper signature. The results did not convincingly expand or improve the target, with gold grades underperforming relative to the project’s prior results and hole 1 classified as a miss.
The stock rose from approximately C$0.40 in March to C$1.03 on August 17, roughly a 2.5x increase, driven by anticipation of Phase Three results. It subsequently declined to C$0.65 by October 20, representing a drop of approximately 37% from the high. The market had priced Phase Three to repeat or extend earlier high-grade hits. While the copper results added width, they did not increase grade, and the gold results did not meet those expectations.
Kairos Gold Inc. (TSXV: KIRO) is a pre-revenue Chilean explorer. The release cites a portfolio of 17,201 hectares across three projects; the corporate presentation lists five properties (~90 claims, 22,433 ha) — Las Garillas (including the Oro Brillante concession), Carmona (~7 km from Las Garillas), La Fortuna, Apolo and Sancarron. Targeted settings span the Cretaceous-Palaeocene Cu-Au belt (Las Garillas, Carmona) and the El Indio gold belt (Apolo, Sancarron), with deposit types including high-sulphidation epithermal, porphyry, skarn and disseminated Au-Ag. No mineral resource, reserve, PEA or economic study exists at any property.
Prior-period context (not disclosed in today's release): FY2025 net loss C$334,313, total equity C$6.71M, cash C$415,146 at Dec 31, 2025; the company raised ~C$3.59M (Feb 2026) and ~C$9.82M (July 2026, 16.37M units at C$0.60 with C$0.88 warrants) — a strong treasury for a micro-cap, but dilution and warrant overhang (warrants accelerate at C$1.00).
