Drill Program Underway at Mink Ventures Corporation's Rankin Ni Cu Co Project
Mink launches a 450m drill program targeting conductive anomalies at its newly optioned Rankin project.

Mink Ventures Corporation has executed a drill contract to begin exploration at its newly optioned Rankin Ni, Cu, Co Project, located approximately 35km west of Timmins, Ontario. Mobilization is underway for two drill holes totaling 450 meters. The program targets two priority VTEM Maxwell Plate anomalies characterized by high conductive values and a coincident gravity response, suggesting potential massive sulphide zones.
The drilling follows the July 15, 2026 option agreement to acquire 100% interest in the 86-hectare property. Qualified Person Kevin Filo verified the geophysical data, noting that Mink's prior exploration confirmed the VTEM/Maxwell Plate methodology successfully identifies sulphide zones at interpreted depths. The company maintains a broader portfolio including the Montcalm (104 km²) and Warren (11 km²) projects, both adjacent to or near historic mining infrastructure.
Mink Ventures Corporation (MINK) announced expected, incremental progress following its July 2026 option agreement, with drilling anticipated for early fall placing this update squarely on schedule. The release serves as a purely operational mobilization update, providing no assay results; consequently, the material impact on valuation remains neutral without geological data.
Contextual risk persists from recent Phase 2 drilling at the Warren property in August 2026, which returned only 0.5m of 0.2% Cu, failing to deliver significant Ni-Cu-Co values. The market will be watching the Rankin results closely to see if the VTEM methodology yields higher-grade mineralization than the Warren tests. While the update confirms management's execution capability, it does not de-risk the exploration thesis or alter the company's financial obligations, representing a routine step in a high-risk exploration cycle.
Mink Ventures Corporation (MINK) is a TSXV-listed critical minerals explorer focused on nickel, copper, and cobalt in the Timmins mining district, Ontario. Its flagship assets include the 1,130-hectare Warren Ni-Cu-Co project and the 104 km² Montcalm Ni-Cu-Co project. The Montcalm project is adjacent to Glencore’s former Montcalm Mine, which historically produced 3.93 million tonnes grading 1.25% Ni, 0.67% Cu, and 0.051% Co.
The company utilizes VTEM airborne surveys and Maxwell Plate imaging to identify conductive sulphide targets, aiming to intersect magmatic and volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits. All projects are permitted and drill-ready, leveraging existing regional infrastructure.
