Mink Ventures Corporation Exploration Update
Mink’s Warren drill program missed Ni-Cu-Co targets, shifting focus to the Rankin deposit and winter Phase 3 operations.

Mink Ventures Corporation (MINK) has released assay results from its 2026 Phase 2 drill program at the Warren Ni, Cu, Co property in Ontario. The company drilled 477 meters across two VTEM targets, designated 2050A and 2050B. Overall, no significant nickel, copper, or cobalt values were detected.
Drill hole W26-20 intersected anomalous copper mineralization within the interpreted target zone, including a 0.5-meter interval assaying 0.2% Cu. Hole W26-19 was abandoned with no data reported, and hole W26-21 reported no significant values.
Looking ahead, Mink plans to drill two holes totaling approximately 425 meters at the newly optioned Rankin Property in early fall. Phase 3 drilling at Warren is scheduled for the winter, consisting of three holes for 550 meters to test three new VTEM Maxwell Plate anomalies. Additionally, historical data at the Montcalm Property is under review, with one priority anomaly recommended for drilling.
Mink Ventures Corporation’s Phase 2 drilling results fell short of the company’s exploration thesis, which is predicated on intersecting magmatic Ni-Cu-Co sulphides similar to those found at the adjacent Glencore Montcalm mine. Previous drilling in March 2026 (Hole W26-13) returned 7.1m @ 0.44% Ni, 0.28% Cu, 0.06% Co. The Phase 2 program failed to replicate or extend this success, indicating the VTEM Maxwell Plate targets may not host the anticipated massive sulphide bodies.
The company is now pivoting to the Rankin property and a winter Phase 3 program, though the lack of immediate high-grade intercepts dampens near-term catalyst potential. No new financing was announced alongside this release, a development that draws attention given the company's limited cash position.
Mink Ventures Corporation (TSXV:MINK) is a critical minerals explorer focused on nickel, copper, and cobalt in the Timmins Mining District, Ontario. Its flagship Warren Property comprises 1,130 hectares located approximately 35 km west of Timmins. Hosted in the Kamiskotia Gabbro Complex, the property is prospective for magmatic Ni-Cu-Co sulphides.
The company also holds the Montcalm Property, a roughly 100 km² area adjacent to Glencore's historic Montcalm mine, which historically produced 3.93 million tonnes at 1.25% nickel, 0.67% copper, and 0.051% cobalt. Both projects are permitted and drill-ready, benefiting from existing infrastructure and low geopolitical risk. To prioritize targets, Mink Ventures utilizes VTEM airborne surveys and Maxwell Plate imaging.
