Blossom Gold Surface Drilling Program Intercepts 128 meters at 1.19gAu/t including 37.1m at 2.82gAu/t at its Rosebud Project

Blossom reports 1.2 g/t over 120 m in the unmined wedge, marking the highest grade intercept to date at the project.

Executive Summary

Blossom Gold Inc. (BGAU) has released a new set of surface drill results from the Rosebud open-pit/heap-leach project in Pershing County, Nevada, targeting the East and South Zones.

In the East Zone, hole RC26-012, an expansion hole drilled at a -60-degree dip, returned 128.0m true thickness at 1.187 g/t Au from 181.5m, including 37.1m true thickness at 2.818 g/t Au from 244.5m. The hole also intersected 27.2m at 0.641 g/t Au from 32.7m, including 14.2m at 1.059 g/t Au from 32.7m, and 14.4m at 0.397 g/t Au from 110.3m.

Other East Zone results include:

  • RC26-001, an infill hole drilled vertically: 105.1m at 0.253 g/t Au from 77.7m, plus a separate lower interval of 15.2m at 1.239 g/t Au from 199.5m, including 9.1m at 1.833 g/t Au.
  • RC26-006, an infill hole drilled at a -45-degree dip: 82.9m at 0.257 g/t Au from 40.4m.
  • RC26-007, an infill hole drilled at a -75-degree dip: 233.1m at 0.280 g/t Au from 20.6m.
  • RC26-011, an infill hole drilled at a -60-degree dip: 140.3m at 0.383 g/t Au from 178.2m, including 35.0m at 0.774 g/t, 43.8m at 0.688 g/t and 39.6m at 0.607 g/t; plus several shorter upper intervals.

In the South Zone, expansion hole RC26-008, drilled vertically, returned 149.4m at 0.214 g/t Au from surface, including 7.6m at 0.824 g/t and 9.1m at 0.335 g/t. Expansion hole BG26-044, drilled at a -45-degree dip, returned 269.2m at 0.166 g/t Au from 11.0m, including 17.4m at 0.499 g/t Au from 262.8m. The long headline interval is essentially at the 0.17 g/t cutoff and is not high-grade.

Gold assays in RC26-012 were capped at 6.8 g/t, with five assays capped. Uncapped grades are not reported.

The current surface program involves four rigs. To date, 28,083m of the planned 39,668m has been drilled, leaving 11,585m remaining. An additional 8,230m of underground infill is planned from December, with an updated resource estimate targeted for Q1 2027.

The existing resource estimate, based on a 0.17 g/t Au cut-off, contains 70.755Mt inferred at 0.62 g/t Au and 6.49 g/t Ag, containing 1.28moz Au and 13.4moz Ag. Silver is not credited as gold-equivalent pending metallurgy.

Material Impact

Blossom Gold Inc. (BGAU) reported US$35.46 million in cash as of June 30, 2026, with no debt, no revenue, and a going-concern flag. The company’s loss for the second quarter of 2026 was driven largely by acquisition and exploration accounting rather than operating cash generation. These figures provide context but do not constitute new information from the current release.

At a share price of C$0.90 with 131.6 million shares outstanding, the company’s market capitalization stands at approximately C$118.5 million. Net of roughly C$49 million in cash, the enterprise value is around C$69 million, or approximately C$54 per inferred gold ounce before silver. This valuation reflects the absence of reserves, feasibility studies, permits, and production for the 1.28 million ounce inferred heap-leach candidate.

The stock has declined from C$2.62 in February to C$0.90, a level near its 52-week low. Previous strong drill results, including BG26-030 at 115.4m @ 0.553 g/t, BG26-042 at 106.8m @ 0.42 g/t, and BG26-031 at 44.8m @ 1.22 g/t, did not halt the downward trend. The market is not currently pricing in a repetition of those best prior results.

In contrast, the recent hole RC26-012 presents material improvement over prior East and South expansion holes in terms of grade-and-width substance. The intercept delivered approximately 152 gram-metres, compared to roughly 45-72 gram-metres for the better prior broad holes, featuring a higher grade than the existing resource and a genuine high-grade sub-interval.

The high-grade portion is located at depth, and fresh-rock heap-leach recovery remains a significant open question. An updated resource estimate is not scheduled until the first quarter of 2027. While the hole may add tonnes and grade, it does not yet transform the project’s scale or economics.

Company Overview

Blossom Gold Inc. (TSX: BGAU, OTCQX: BGAUF) is a Canadian-listed precious metals exploration and development company focused on the Rosebud gold-silver project in Pershing County, Nevada. Rosebud is a brownfield project situated on the site of a former underground mine that operated from 1997 to 2000. The company is currently evaluating the site as an open-pit, heap-leach operation. The current inferred resource estimate stands at 70.755Mt @ 0.62 g/t Au and 6.49 g/t Ag for 1.28moz Au and 13.4moz Ag, at a 0.17 g/t Au cut-off.

The company also holds the Kamma and Gamma claims. Kamma is a grassroots exploration target located west of Rosebud, near the Hycroft mine. A first-pass RC programme has been completed at Kamma, yielding only low-grade initial results so far.

Regarding its capital structure, Blossom Gold has 131.6M shares outstanding and 10.4M options, resulting in a fully diluted share count of approximately 142.0M. The company reported cash of US$35.46M at June 30, 2026, with no debt. Institutional ownership is listed at around 78%, including Condire, Libra, Konwave, Merk and Franklin Templeton.

The project is pre-revenue and pre-reserve. A feasibility study is targeted to begin in Q2 2027, with construction planned for 2029 and first production expected around late 2030 or early 2031.
