Blossom Gold Intercepts 106.8m at 0.42gAu/t and 44.8m at 1.22gAu/t, and Extends Near-Surface Mineralization at its Rosebud Open-Pit Heap-Leach Project

Blossom reports its best grade-width hole yet, though fresh rock overhangs the cap limit.

Executive Summary

Blossom Gold Inc. (BGAU) has released the third batch of 2026 drill results from its Rosebud open-pit heap-leach project in Pershing County, Nevada, covering the South, East, and Northwest Zones. All intervals are reported as true thicknesses, determined at a 0.005 opt (0.17 g/t Au) cutoff, with highlighted intervals above 0.01 opt (0.34 g/t Au).

Key reported intercepts include: - South Zone BG26-031: 44.8m @ 1.224 g/t Au from 149.8m, including 12.6m @ 1.882, 8.0m @ 2.620 and 3.2m @ 5.064 g/t Au. - South Zone RC26-009: 60.1m @ 0.327 g/t Au from surface (oxide), including 19.6m @ 0.682 g/t. - South Zone RC26-010: 14.6m @ 0.244 g/t Au from 27.6m (oxide), plus lower intervals of 15.9m @ 0.174 and 24.1m @ 0.312 g/t. - South Zone BG26-041 (geochemical hole): 60.7m @ 0.215 g/t Au from 8.7m. - East Zone BG26-042: 106.8m @ 0.419 g/t Au from 74.8m, including 22.7m @ 0.575 and 24.2m @ 0.716 g/t (non-oxidized domain). - East Zone BG26-039 (geotechnical hole): 118.4m @ 0.252 g/t Au from 49.3m, including 21.7m @ 0.394 g/t (non-oxidized). - Northwest Zone maiden hole BG26-033: 18.5m @ 0.200 g/t Au from 38.9m, from the upper bedrock contact.

The company has completed 19,911m of a planned 31,496m surface campaign. An 8,230m underground infill program is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with an updated Mineral Resource Estimate targeted for the first quarter of 2027. Grade is capped at 6.8 g/t Au in BG26-031 and BG26-042, affecting three assays. Only gold is reported; no gold-equivalent is provided pending metallurgy.

Material Impact

Blossom Gold Inc. (BGAU) released drill results from its Rosebud project, a pre-revenue exploration company with US$35.5 million in cash and no debt as of the first half of 2026. The company reported a half-year net loss of US$48.1 million, driven largely by a US$34.9 million acquisition cost for Rosebud and US$5.1 million in share-based payments, alongside an operating cash outflow of US$40.9 million. A going-concern flag remains in place as the company seeks further equity to fund a planned ~31,500-meter surface and 8,230-meter underground program, including feasibility studies.

The company holds a defined 1.28 million ounce inferred resource with a market capitalization of approximately C$186 million. The latest batch of on-trend expansion and infill drilling did not represent a step change in gram-metres relative to prior releases. The best-grade wide hole to date was BG26-031, which returned 54.8 g·m over 44.8 meters at 1.22 g/t. This compares to the August 12 batch, which included BG26-030 (115.4 meters at 0.553 g/t, equating to 63.8 g·m) and BG26-027 (28.0 meters at 1.682 g/t, equating to 47.1 g·m). The delta versus the preceding anchor batch is roughly in-line to slightly better in grade, but not materially better in substance.

The stock has round-tripped from C$2.62 in late February to C$1.41, printing a fresh low of C$1.33 on September 16 despite releases on June 30, August 12, and August 27. The market has remained unmoved, with the August 27 metallurgical results showing poor fresh-rock recovery appearing to be the more decisive driver. The results confirm an already-defined system and add near-surface support for the heap-leach concept around historic workings, but they do not change the scale, grade, or odds enough to alter the resource-scale thesis or overcome the fresh-rock metallurgical overhang.

Company Overview

Blossom Gold Inc. (TSX: BGAU) is a Canadian-listed precious-metals explorer and developer that completed a reverse takeover and listing in 2026. The company holds a 100% interest in the Rosebud project, located in Pershing County, Nevada, approximately 50 miles west of Winnemucca. Rosebud is a low-sulphidation Au-Ag epithermal system that was previously mined underground between 1997 and 2000 by a Newmont-Hecla joint venture, which produced approximately 1 million tonnes at 0.44 opt (15 g/t) for roughly 400,000 ounces of gold.

The current NI 43-101 Inferred resource stands at 70.755 million tonnes at 0.62 g/t Au and 6.49 g/t Ag, containing 1.28 million ounces of gold and 13.4 million ounces of silver. This resource is pit-constrained at US$2,500/oz for gold and US$35/oz for silver. A preliminary underground component is also cited in the investor brief, totaling 3.08 million tonnes at 3.94 g/t Au. The company’s strategy involves evaluating a large open-pit, on-site heap-leach operation, with permitting and construction targeted for mid-2028.

Blossom Gold also owns the Kamma claims, a secondary asset comprising approximately 1,809 acres west of Rosebud. This early-stage property saw RC drilling begin in 2026. Financial data from the first half of 2026 indicates the company held US$35.5 million in cash with no debt and no revenue, while noting a going-concern status. Management includes CEO Rick Winters, COO Graden Colby, VP Exploration Dr. John DeDecker, and QP Dino Titaro. Major holders include Condire, Libra, Konwave, and Franklin Templeton.
