Blossom Gold Reports Continued Success with Expansion and Infill Drilling at the Rosebud Open-Pit, Heap-Leach Project
Blossom reports in-line, low-grade bulk intercepts from infill drilling, confirming consistent grades without scale surprises at the project.

Blossom Gold Inc. (BGAU) has released additional drilling results from its 2026 program at the Rosebud open-pit, heap-leach project in Nevada. The company highlighted expansion and infill holes drilled in the South, Southwest, and Northeast Zones.
Key intercepts, reported as true thickness and using a 0.17 g/t Au cutoff, include: - BG26-030: 115.4m @ 0.553 g/t Au (including 52.6m @ 0.860 g/t, and 15.1m @ 2.056 g/t) - BG26-027: 28.0m @ 1.682 g/t Au - BG26-024: 25.3m @ 0.864 g/t Au - BG26-026: 124.3m @ 0.315 g/t Au (including 34.2m @ 0.664 g/t)
Other holes returned narrower, lower-grade intervals. Two holes, BG26-017 and BG26-028, fell below the cutoff but showed extensive low-grade mineralization.
Technical drilling is now 80% complete. Four rigs are currently active, with a priority on resource expansion. An updated resource estimate is targeted for Q1 2027.
Blossom Gold Inc. (BGAU) is a pre-resource upgrade junior explorer with a 1.28 moz inferred resource at its Rosebud project. The recent results represent infill and expansion drilling within and near the known pit shell.
The stock had drifted from C$2.41 in early June to C$1.79 ahead of this news, suggesting the market had already priced in routine drill results. The new holes deliver grades and widths consistent with prior drilling, such as the June 30 results of 294m @ 0.245 and 99.5m @ 0.392. There is no new discovery or step-change in continuity.
The release does not alter the view that Rosebud is a large, low-grade heap-leach deposit. While the results confirm grade continuity and add modest ounces, they are not a value-accretive event that changes the development timeline, capital cost, or ultimate scale. The release does not provide enough new data to claim a game-changing expansion.
Blossom Gold Inc. (BGAU) is a TSX-listed junior focused on the 100%-owned Rosebud gold-silver project in Nevada. Rosebud hosts a historical underground mine that operated from 1997 to 2000, averaging a grade of approximately 15 g/t Au. The company now targets an open-pit, heap-leach operation on the surrounding low-grade halo.
The current inferred resource stands at 70.8 Mt @ 0.62 g/t Au and 6.49 g/t Ag, containing 1.28 moz Au and 13.4 moz Ag. The company is pre-revenue, with approximately US$35 million in cash as of June 30, 2026. Management is advancing permitting, including a BLM Plan of Operations, alongside metallurgical testing and a feasibility study, with a construction start target of mid-2028.
