Banyan Gold Intersects 13.03 g/t Au Over 14.2m at Powerline North, AurMac, Yukon, Canada

Banyan reports high-grade step-out drilling into the undrilled Airstrip-Powerline gap at its project.

Executive Summary

Banyan Gold Corp. (BYN) reported 2026 drill results from Powerline North at the AurMac Project in the Yukon. Highlight hole AX-26-874 returned 13.03 g/t Au over 14.2m, with a true width estimated at 90% or 12.8m.

AX-26-874 includes three high-grade sub-intervals: * 18.10 g/t Au over 1.5m * 142.70 g/t Au over 1.0m * 12.77 g/t Au over 1.2m

The hole also returned a broad 0.80 g/t Au over 54.5m and lower-grade intervals. Supporting holes included AX-26-832, which returned 1.17 g/t Au over 11.2m; AX-26-840, which returned 1.86 g/t Au over 13.9m including 22.30 g/t Au over 1.0m; and AX-26-871, which returned 1.42 g/t Au over 13.5m with several high-grade sub-metre intervals.

Holes AX-26-845 and AX-26-850 returned mainly low-grade intervals below 0.5 g/t Au over broad lengths. The company states the results extend high-grade mineralization into the largely undrilled gap between Powerline and Airstrip, an area mostly classified as unmineralized in the resource model.

Material Impact

Banyan Gold Corp. (BYN) is an advanced pre-PEA developer with a large resource base, holding 3.639 moz indicated and 4.985 moz inferred gold at a 0.30 g/t cut-off. The company is not a grassroots discovery explorer, meaning a single high-grade hole moves the thesis less, but a successful step-out into the Powerline-Airstrip gap can improve pit optimisation and higher-grade starter-pit potential.

The stock has already re-rated dramatically from C$0.40 in August 2025 to C$1.75 in August 2026, so the market has partially priced continued high-grade success and resource growth. This result exceeds the prior Powerline Southwest gold anchor in length and comparable grade, and it is located in an area currently unmodelled, so the delta is positive.
