Banyan Gold Confirms New Gold-Silver Discovery at Seattle Creek with 5.70 g/t Au and 544 g/t Ag over 0.5m, Nitra Project, Yukon
Banyan’s first Seattle Creek assays show 0.5m at 5.7 g/t Au in a single partial hole.

Banyan Gold Corp. (BYN) has released the initial assay results from drillhole NT-26-006 at the Seattle Creek zone on its greenfields Nitra Project in the Yukon, located 25 km west of AurMac. Only the top 95 meters of the 600-meter hole have been assayed, with results for the lower 505 meters still pending.
Key reported intervals from NT-26-006 include:
- 27.7 m at 0.49 g/t Au from 26.1 m to 53.8 m
- including 12.1 m at 0.91 g/t Au and 27.01 g/t Ag from 41.7 m to 53.8 m
- including 1.4 m at 4.04 g/t Au from 41.7 m to 43.1 m
- including 0.5 m at 5.70 g/t Au and 544 g/t Ag from 42.6 m to 43.1 m
- and including 1.4 m at 3.32 g/t Au from 52.4 m to 53.8 m
- 0.4 m at 2.34 g/t Au from 95.1 m to 95.5 m
True widths are estimated at approximately 80% of the drill intervals. Seattle Creek represents the second of 11 greenfields targets being drilled in 2026, with assays from Roaring Fork and other holes remaining pending.
Banyan Gold Corp. (BYN) reported a grassroots greenfields discovery at Seattle Creek, distinct from infill or resource-definition work at its AurMac project. The AurMac resource base remains substantial, comprising an Indicated 3.639 moz Au and an Inferred 4.985 moz Au at a 0.30 g/t cutoff.
A single partial hole at Seattle Creek returned 0.91 g/t Au over 12.1 m. This result does not alter the AurMac resource, the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) timeline, or the company’s valuation.
In comparison to the August 17, 2026 Powerline result of 13.03 g/t Au over 14.2 m, the Seattle Creek intercept is materially weaker in both gold grade and width. It is not a follow-up on the same zone.
The market has already re-rated strongly off AurMac and Powerline results, with the stock reaching a 52-week high. Consequently, this release is unlikely to drive a further substantial move on its own. The result serves as a positive early exploration signal.
Banyan Gold Corp. (BYN) is a Yukon gold explorer and developer focused on its primary asset, the AurMac Project. The company also holds the Hyland Project and two grassroots exploration properties, Nitra and Seattle-Goodman Creek, which are adjacent to AurMac.
An updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for AurMac, effective May 15, 2026, defines resources within a US$3,500/oz pit shell at a 0.30 g/t Au cutoff. The Indicated resource totals 3.639 moz Au from 167.3 Mt at 0.68 g/t, while the Inferred resource contains 4.985 moz Au from 267.2 Mt at 0.58 g/t.
The Hyland Project MRE, effective September 1, 2025, reports an Indicated resource of 337 koz Au and 2.63 moz Ag, alongside an Inferred resource of 118 koz Au and 0.86 moz Ag.
Financially, Banyan Gold reported a net loss of C$1.94 million for the second quarter of 2026. As of March 31, 2026, the company held working capital of approximately C$24.6 million. This follows a C$46.5 million financing round closed in May 2026. A Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for AurMac is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
