Gemdale Gold Intersects 5.19m at 14.01 g/t Au within 110m at 1.18 g/t Au at the Pontio Gold Project, Finland
Gemdale’s best-ever bulk-tonnage intercept at Pontio widens the high-grade core, boosting the grade profile ahead of the maiden resource.

Gemdale Gold Inc. (GEMG) reported that Hole PONT093 in the S1 sector intersected 110.00m @ 1.18 g/t Au from 99.08m. This interval includes a high-grade shoot of 5.19m @ 14.01 g/t Au from 137.90m, as well as a separate upper zone of 9.10m @ 0.93 g/t Au from 81.94m.
Other holes in the release reported lower-grade intervals, including: * PONT087: 48.89m @ 0.68 g/t * PONT085: multiple zones cumulating 98.32m of sub-0.6 g/t material
The release claims the drilling significantly extended the width of the S1 porphyry to greater than 140m true thickness and highlights the best-ever grade x thickness product for the Project.
Gemdale Gold Inc. (GEMG) reported a drill result that represents a genuine improvement over all previous Pontio holes in both grade and width. The intercept extends the S1 porphyry’s perceived thickness and injects a high-grade component that could enhance the average resource grade. For the junior explorer, which has a maiden resource due in early 2027, this directly boosts tonnage and grade potential.
The stock had drifted from a May high of $2.16 to $1.68 by early August, reflecting waning interest. This result is clearly better than the July 28 infill results, which were routine 0.6–0.8 g/t over wide intervals.
Gemdale Gold Inc. (GEMG) is a Canadian-registered junior explorer focused on Finland. Its flagship Pontio Gold Project in western Finland hosts a near-surface, diorite-hosted gold system with a 4 km strike length and more than 10,000 m of historical drilling. The company is currently executing a 6,000 m infill program to support a maiden mineral resource estimate by early 2027.
Strategic investor Eldorado Gold holds approximately 9.5% (undiluted) following a C$2.4M placement. Gemdale Gold also holds a portfolio of secondary projects, including the Isoneva optioned property, Lapland, Kumiseva, and Savo. The company listed on the TSXV (GEMG) and OTCQB in early 2026.
As of March 31, 2026, the company reported cash of C$2.89M (EUR 2.89M) against a planned 12-month budget of approximately C$2.04M (EUR 2.04M). While the company is funded for immediate exploration, further capital will be needed to reach production.
