Infill Drilling Significantly Widens and Extends Near Surface Gold Mineralisation at Gemdale Gold's Pontio Gold Project, Finland

Gemdale’s infill drilling in Finland confirms bulk-tonnage, near-surface gold deposits, though the results lack a significant step-change trigger for the project.

Executive Summary

Gemdale Gold Inc. (GEMG) has released infill drill results from its 2026 program at the 100% owned Pontio Gold Project in Finland, covering the N1 and N2 sectors of the M2 trend.

Highlights from the N2 sector include PONT082 (92.85m @ 0.70 g/t Au plus 45.72m @ 0.44 g/t Au), PONT084 (66.86m @ 0.59 g/t Au plus 24.92m @ 0.63 g/t Au), PONT079 (44.74m @ 0.65 g/t Au), PONT080B (52.03m @ 0.57 g/t Au), and PONT081 (23.34m @ 0.79 g/t Au plus 44.97m @ 0.55 g/t Au).

In the N1 sector, notable intercepts include BELANP013 (64.16m @ 1.06 g/t Au, including 14.82m @ 2.29 g/t Au), BELANP012 (74.29m @ 0.86 g/t Au, including 18.78m @ 1.34 g/t Au), BELANP015 (45.20m @ 1.04 g/t Au, including 19.53m @ 1.58 g/t Au), and BELANP017 (53.13m @ 0.85 g/t Au, including 15.51m @ 1.47 g/t Au).

The mineralized diorite host is now estimated to be greater than 100m in true width on some profiles, and the deposit remains open at depth and along strike. A maiden mineral resource estimate is planned for early 2027, and visible gold was tentatively identified in the S1 sector, with assays pending.

Material Impact

Gemdale Gold Inc. (GEMG) is a pre-resource explorer, meaning any drilling that advances the company toward a maiden resource is considered material. These infill holes confirm continuity and widen the system, supporting the resource estimate timeline. However, the results do not represent a new discovery, a grade uplift, or a major step-out.

Since the February 2026 listing, the stock rallied to $2.16 before drifting down to $1.56 as excitement faded. The market has already priced in the potential of Pontio based on earlier, higher-grade and longer intercepts. The current results are slightly below the earlier benchmark holes, serving to de-risk the existing narrative rather than re-rate the stock.

Company Overview

Gemdale Gold Inc. (GEMG) is a junior explorer focused on gold and critical metals in Finland. The company listed on the TSX-V and OTCQB (GDGIF) in early 2026, raising approximately C$6.7M combined from an escrowed subscription receipt conversion and a strategic $2.4M placement from Eldorado Gold.

The company’s flagship Pontio Gold Project is 100% owned and features over 10,000m of historical drilling along a 4 km strike of near-surface gold in sheared diorite. A current 6,000m infill program aims to produce a maiden resource in early 2027. Other assets include Isoneva, which is optioned to Nordique Resources with Gemdale retaining a 2% NSR; Lapland gold claims; Kumiseva (Cu-Ni-Pt-Pd); and Savo/Rantasalmi, which holds a historical inferred resource of 3.23Mt @ 2.7 g/t Au for approximately 276koz.

As of March 31, 2026, the company held €2.89M in cash and has a projected 12-month budget of €2.04M.
