Lodestar Metals Reports Bulk-Tonnage Gold-Silver Potential at the Gold Run Project in Nevada

Lodestar’s Maiden Gold Run assays deliver a broad oxide intercept and high-grade gold-silver shoot, validating open pit and underground potential.

Executive Summary

Lodestar Metals Corp. (LSTR) has released assay results from the first six reverse circulation holes, totaling 1,143 meters, of its maiden 2,680-meter drill program at the Robbers Knob area of the Gold Run project in Nevada.

The company identified three mineralization styles: broad near-surface oxide, high-grade shoots and veins, and deeper polymetallic gold-silver-lead-zinc deposits. True widths are estimated at 85–95% of core lengths.

Key intercepts from the initial six holes include:

  • LSRC04: 16.8 m @ 6.07 g/t Au, 41.1 g/t Ag from 132.6 m, including 3.0 m @ 31.90 g/t Au, 181.6 g/t Ag.
  • LSRC03: 70.1 m @ 0.54 g/t Au, 6.7 g/t Ag from 89.9 m, including 62.5 m @ 0.60 g/t Au, 7.0 g/t Ag from 97.5 m.
  • LSRC02: 15.2 m @ 0.37 g/t Au, 16.0 g/t Ag, 0.27% Pb, 0.40% Zn from 161.5 m (polymetallic).
  • LSRC01: 30.5 m @ 0.30 g/t Au, 6.8 g/t Ag from 51.8 m.
  • LSRC05: 36.6 m @ 0.20 g/t Au, 3.7 g/t Ag from 137.2 m.
  • LSRC06: No significant intercepts.

Assays remain pending for 12 holes totaling 1,537 meters at other targets within the project.

Material Impact

Lodestar Metals Corp. (LSTR) is a pre-resource, micro-cap explorer with a market capitalization of approximately CAD $1.66 million. Prior to this release, the stock had declined from $0.12–0.13 in May 2026 to $0.07, reflecting waning enthusiasm after a drill program completed without news. Historical Robbers Knob grades are comparable at 18.3 m @ 4.3 g/t Au, so the market was not expecting a Tier-1 discovery. The new results confirm the presence of a robust mineralized system, featuring a broad oxide zone and a high-grade shoot. The 102 g·m gold intercept in LSRC04 is a positive surprise given the recent drift lower, and the bulk-tonnage potential remains alive.

However, the results are not transformative: - No resource has been defined. - Only one hole hit >5 g/t Au. - The high-grade shoot has not been confirmed by a second hole; continuity is unknown. - The bulk oxide grade (0.54 g/t) is low for a standalone open pit. - The pending 12 holes could provide the needed follow-up.

The news is materially positive for a junior explorer, but it does not change the company’s fundamental risk profile, as there are no reserves and the company is in early exploration.

Company Overview

Lodestar Metals Corp. is a Canadian junior explorer focused on its 100%-owned Gold Run Project in Nevada. The project covers over 3,500 acres in a mining-friendly jurisdiction and is situated in a past-producing district with historic gold-silver intercepts, though it currently holds no NI 43-101 resource. The company also holds an early-stage lithium exploration asset at Peny, Manitoba, which is not considered a current value driver.

Management is led by Lowell Kamin, with technical oversight provided by Leo Horn, a Qualified Person. The company recently consolidated its shares on a 2:1 basis and completed a $1.57M private placement to fund drilling activities. Financials show no revenue, with selling, general, and administrative expenses running approximately $150k to $300k per quarter. The cash position has been depleted by drilling but is expected to be replenished through future equity raises.
