Lodestar Metals Intersects 15.2 m of 102.2 g/t AgEq, Including 1.5 m of 431.1 g/t AgEq, at Black Diamond, Gold Run Project, Nevada

Executive Summary

Lodestar Metals Corp. (LSTR) has reported assay results for eight reverse circulation holes totaling 902 meters at the Black Diamond target. This data is part of the company’s maiden drilling program at the Gold Run project in Nevada, which comprised 18 holes for a total of 2,680 meters, though other releases have cited totals of 2,820 meters or 2,860 meters.

The company identified the following headline intercepts, reported as drill-hole lengths rather than true widths:

  • LSRC13: 15.2 m at 102.2 g/t AgEq (79.5 g/t Ag, 0.20 g/t Au, 0.25% Pb, 0.44% Zn) from 50.3 m, including 1.5 m at 431.1 g/t AgEq (385.0 g/t Ag, 0.51 g/t Au) from 54.9 m.
  • LSRC14: 12.2 m at 98.3 g/t AgEq (85.6 g/t Ag, 0.12 g/t Au, 0.19% Pb, 0.19% Zn) from 48.8 m, including 3.0 m at 289.2 g/t AgEq (263.0 g/t Ag) from 48.8 m.
  • LSRC10: 10.7 m at 52.1 g/t AgEq (9.7 g/t Ag, 0.62 g/t Au) from 9.1 m, including 4.6 m at 76.6 g/t AgEq and 3.0 m at 89.2 g/t AgEq.
  • LSRC11: 13.7 m at 31.4 g/t AgEq (7.9 g/t Ag, 0.36 g/t Au) from 7.6 m.
  • LSRC12: 7.6 m at 35.4 g/t AgEq from 6.1 m; and 18.3 m at 23.4 g/t AgEq from 53.3 m.
  • LSRC15: 6.1 m at 37.4 g/t AgEq from 51.8 m.
  • LSRC16: 7.6 m at 36.8 g/t AgEq from 91.4 m.
  • LSRC09: 6.1 m at 19.1 g/t AgEq from 13.7 m.

Lodestar claims an 850-meter strike of mineralization, noting that the zone remains open along strike and up- and down-dip. All eight holes intersected silver-gold mineralization. Assays are still pending for two holes totaling 312 meters at the Crown North area. The company described these results as the first high-grade silver intercept from the Black Diamond Prospect.

Material Impact

Lodestar Metals Corp. (LSTR) is a micro-cap grassroots explorer with a market capitalization of approximately C$4 million. The company currently has no established resources, no revenue, and carries a going-concern flag in its latest Management’s Discussion and Analysis. At this early stage, a genuine new-zone discovery holds more material weight than it would for a producing entity.

The company recently announced the first drill confirmation of a silver zone at Black Diamond, supported by induced polarization (IP) targeting. All eight holes drilled across 850 meters returned mineralized results. This discovery adds a silver dimension to a property the market primarily associates with gold and materially increases the number of live mineralized targets, which now include Robbers Knob, Gomes, and Black Diamond.

However, Black Diamond’s silver potential was already public knowledge. In April 2026, a patent acquisition cited rock chips containing up to 3,307 g/t silver, and soil anomalies reaching 33 g/t Ag were reported in October 2025. While the recent drilling has confirmed a system, the grades are significantly lower than those suggested by the earlier surface samples.

The prior best intercept in the recent campaign was at Robbers Knob, hole LSRC04, which returned 16.8 meters at 6.07 g/t gold and 41.1 g/t silver on August 5, 2026, equating to approximately 7,300 AgEq g-m. The stock price did not fully embed this benchmark; it rose from $0.07 to $0.09 on August 5, 2026, before round-tripping to $0.07 and settling in the $0.06–$0.08 range. The stock is currently trading near its 52-week low of $0.08, compared to $0.24 in January.

Black Diamond’s intercept of 1,553 AgEq g-m is roughly one-fifth of the Robbers Knob benchmark and comparable to the Gomes target, which returned approximately 1,262 AgEq g-m on October 6. The Black Diamond zone is characterized as a new area of good-band grade and width that still awaits further confirmation. At approximately 100 g/t AgEq over 15 meters, the metal density is modest and is not expected to meaningfully change the deposit's value on its own.
