Lodestar Metals Reports High-Grade Gold at Gomes Prospect at the Gold Run Project in Nevada
Lodestar’s Gomes deposit adds a second mineralized zone with 18 g·m Au, a modest and unpriced result.

Lodestar Metals Corp. (LSTR) has released results from two reverse circulation (RC) holes totaling 463 meters drilled at the Gomes target. These results are part of the company’s maiden 2,680-meter, 18-hole program at Gold Run, Nevada.
The headline hole, LSRC-08, returned a broad low-grade halo of 12.19 meters at 0.11 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au) and 2.0 grams per tonne (g/t) silver (Ag) from 118.87 meters. This interval is followed by a high-grade zone of 4.57 meters at 4.00 g/t Au and 15.6 g/t Ag from 135.64 meters. Within that 4.57-meter interval, there is 1.52 meters at 11.30 g/t Au and 30.4 g/t Ag from 135.64 to 137.16 meters.
Hole LSRC-07 returned 12.19 meters at 0.10 g/t Au and 5.1 g/t Ag from surface, and 6.10 meters at 0.10 g/t Au and 1.2 g/t Ag from 143.26 meters.
The stated cutoffs are 0.1 g/t Au for LSRC-07 and the broad LSRC-08 halo; 0.3 g/t Au for the 4.57-meter zone; and 1.0 g/t Au for the 1.52-meter "including" interval. True widths are estimated at 85–95% of the reported downhole lengths.
Assays are pending for 10 further RC holes totaling 1,214 meters at Black Diamond and Crown North.
Additional data includes a rock sample (GMLH05) taken north of Gomes, which returned 2.8 g/t Au, 7.5 g/t Ag, 14.7% copper (Cu), and 0.457% zinc (Zn). Historical drilling by Cambior in 1996 reported 1.5 g/t Au over 13.7 meters, including 32.5 g/t Au over 1.5 meters, though these results are unverified. The company states that prospective structures extend at least one kilometer.
The Qualified Person (QP) for the data is Leo Horn (MAIG), a consulting director to the company.
Lodestar Metals Corp. (LSTR) is a grassroots, pre-resource explorer with a market capitalization of approximately C$3.6 million, based on 51.5 million shares trading at $0.07. The company has released its first high-grade gold-silver intercept at the Gomes property, located approximately 200 meters from the Robbers Knob zone. This discovery partially validates induced polarization-chargeability as a targeting vector and establishes a second mineralized target on a property previously defined by Robbers Knob alone.
The new intercept features a grade-thickness of 18.3 g·m, which is materially weaker than the company’s Robbers Knob anchor result, LSRC-04, which recorded approximately 102 g·m. The most recent significant release, dated August 5, 2026, represented the property's best result to date and moved the stock from $0.07 to $0.09 before fading within days. Since January 2026, the stock has round-tripped from $0.24 to the $0.06–0.07 range, where it has remained for months near its 52-week low.
The company remains in a baseline state without a defined resource, metallurgical data, or true-width certainty. The new data is considered an incremental, modest positive that does not move resource scale, grade, or odds meaningfully on its own.
Lodestar Metals Corp. (TSXV: LSTR; OTCQB: SVTNF; FSE: PR90) is a pre-revenue Canadian gold explorer focused on its flagship Gold Run Project in Humboldt County, Nevada. The company holds 100% ownership of approximately 75 unpatented claims spread across two non-contiguous blocks totaling roughly 516 hectares. These claims are situated adjacent to Nevada Gold Mines ground and lie along the Getchell and Battle Mountain trends.
The project’s exploration targets include Robbers Knob, Gomes, Black Diamond, Crown North, the Independence Trend, and Grindstone Flats. Robbers Knob is the primary target and the only zone with a demonstrated strong intercept. The Black Diamond target includes a patent acquired in April 2026 and has yielded historic silver assays of up to 3,307 g/t in rock chips. Crown North is located down-dip of the historic Adelaide Crown epithermal deposit.
Lodestar currently has no mineral resource. A 1991 FMC non-compliant historical estimate of 50,000–100,000 oz Au (0.037–0.067 oz/t) is disclosed for reference only and is considered unusable. Historical production figures for Redhouse (34,886 oz) and Adelaide-Crown (57,398 oz) are not attributed to the company.
The company’s capital structure consists of 51.52 million shares outstanding, 18.34 million warrants with a weighted average exercise price (WAEP) of $0.20, and 5.15 million options, resulting in approximately 75.0 million fully diluted shares. The company reports nil debt.
According to Q2-2026 financials, Lodestar holds C$1.40M in cash and a C$1.40M working-capital position against C$0.10M in current liabilities. The presentation’s figure of approximately C$3.86M is noted as inconsistent and unverified.
Management includes CEO Lowell Kamin, CFO Kyle Appleby, QP and Technical Director Leo Horn, and Chairman David Christie, supported by advisors.
