Algo Grande Provides Phase II Drill Update; Commences Hole 3 with Second Drill Rig at Cerro Grande

Algo Grande mobilizes a second rig for phase II drilling at the Cerro Grande skarn target.

Executive Summary

Algo Grande Copper Corp. has begun drilling on Hole AG_CG_PH2_003, also known as Hole 3, at the Cerro Grande skarn target within its 100%-owned Adelita Project in Sonora, Mexico. To support the program, a second track-mounted drill rig has been mobilized to the site to operate concurrently with the first rig.

Hole 2 (AG_CG_PH2_002) is currently at approximately 300 metres of a planned 700-metre depth. Core from previously disclosed mineralized intervals (146.70 to 176.93 metres) is being cut and prepared for shipment to ALS Laboratories. Hole 3 is designed to confirm and expand five known skarn horizons, test along-strike extensions of three new horizons discovered in Phase I, and explore for additional mineralization in previously untested limestone.

Phase I drilling, completed in February 2026, identified a stacked, five-horizon skarn system with 41.59 metres of mineralized skarn across five separate intervals. Assay results for Hole 2 will be reported once received, reviewed, and verified.

Material Impact

Algo Grande Copper Corp. (ALGR) released a direct operational follow-up to its July 28, 2026 update, confirming the arrival of a second rig and visual copper intercepts in Hole 2. Execution of the Phase II drill plan is proceeding as scheduled.

No new assay data or geological discoveries are reported in this update. The primary catalyst remains the upcoming assay results, which management previously targeted for August 2026. Until those results are released, this update serves as a confidence-building operational checkpoint rather than a valuation driver.

Company Overview

Algo Grande Copper Corp. is an exploration-stage company focused on the Adelita Project, a 5,895-hectare land package in the Sonora-Arizona copper belt in Mexico. The company’s flagship target is Cerro Grande, a high-grade copper-gold-silver skarn system. Phase I drilling confirmed a vertically stacked, multi-horizon skarn model with clear geochemical vectors toward a deeper porphyry source.

The project also includes district-scale targets: Cerro Potrero South, a skarn deposit, and Las Trancas, an epithermal system. Both locations have shown high-grade surface samples and are slated for maiden drilling in Phase II. The company has secured exploration permits, social licenses, and an underground mining permit, positioning it as drill-ready.
