Algo Grande Copper Confirms 68.43 Metres of Copper-Silver-Gold Mineralization Across Two Zones in Hole AG-CG-PH2-002, Including a New Zone of 38.20 Metres at 1.0% CuEq
Algo Grande confirms a lower skarn zone at 1.0% CuEq, adding depth to the deposit despite grades falling below the anchor level.

Algo Grande Copper Corp. (ALGR) has released full-assay results for drill hole AG-CG-PH2-002 at the Adelita Project’s Cerro Grande skarn in Sonora, Mexico. The update serves as a follow-up to the September 11, 2026 release, confirming the previously reported upper zone while providing new data for the lower half of the hole.
The upper zone remains unchanged from prior reporting, returning 30.23 meters grading 1.5% CuEq (0.83% Cu, 47.3 g/t Ag, 0.40 g/t Au) from 146.70 meters. This interval includes 3.55 meters at 9.4% CuEq and 1.20 meters at 15.8% CuEq.
The newly reported lower zone extends 38.20 meters grading 1.0% CuEq from 243.80 meters to 282.00 meters. This section includes 1.70 meters at 4.5% CuEq from 244.30 meters and a higher-grade core of 11.50 meters at 2.0% CuEq from 268.00 meters, with local zinc grades reaching 0.48%.
A gap between the two zones, spanning 176.93 meters to 243.80 meters, returned only minor intercepts. These included 0.85 meters at 2.7% CuEq, 2.10 meters at 0.7%, 1.10 meters at 0.2%, and 1.00 meters at 0.3%. The company attributes this gap to drillhole azimuth drift, noting a deviation from 112.9 degrees at the collar to approximately 115.6–117.7 degrees across the 162–252 meter range.
Algo Grande highlighted a combined mineralized interval of 68.43 meters averaging 1.2% CuEq. Sampling concluded at 364.00 meters where the hole entered fresh granodiorite, revising the base of the limestone-skarn package down approximately 52 meters from 312 meters to 364.00 meters. The hole reached a total depth of 661.80 meters.
In related drilling, the first Phase II hole, AG-CG-PH2-001, intersected multi-phase quartz monzonite and over 250 meters of potassic-silicic alteration. It also identified a molybdenum anomaly averaging 32.6 ppm Mo (peak 110 ppm) over 15.58 meters, with no significant copper reported.
On the corporate front, Algo Grande entered a three-month investor relations and communications agreement with German Mining Networks GmbH at a cost of $6,800 per month.
Algo Grande Copper Corp. (ALGR) released results from a single confirmation drill hole, adding to its pre-resource exploration data. The company’s primary expectation anchor remains the September 11, 2026 result from the upper zone, which reported 30.23 meters at 1.5% CuEq, equating to 45.4% CuEq·m. That announcement previously drove the stock from approximately C$0.57–0.68 in early September to C$0.79–0.81 by September 21–22, representing a 20–40% increase. The share price currently sits below, but near the top of, its recovery range relative to the C$0.95 high recorded in January.
The latest data identified a second zone with comparable metreage, totaling 38.2% CuEq·m, though at a lower grade of 1.0% compared to the 1.5% in the upper zone. This addition was largely pre-signalled by an August 11 release, which reported 68.77 meters of visually observed copper mineralization across a 154-meter span in the same hole. The new data converts that visual logging into hard assays at a moderate grade.
There is no change to the resource, mine life, economic study, or metallurgy. For a company with a C$40M equity, one hole at 1.0% CuEq does not shift the perceived scale or grade enough to alter the investment thesis. The result is viewed as a solid, incremental confirmation.
Algo Grande Copper Corp. (TSXV:ALGR / OTCID:ALGRF / FRA:KM00) is an early-stage explorer formed from the reactivation of Kenadyr Metals and its December 18, 2025 acquisition of the 100%-owned, 5,895-hectare Adelita Project in the Arizona-Sonora copper belt, Sonora, Mexico. Enrico Gay became CEO in November 2025, and João Rocha (EurGeol, ex-Cascabel) became VP Exploration in January 2026.
The company’s flagship asset is the high-grade Cerro Grande Cu-Ag-Au skarn, which features a claimed ~6 km geophysical corridor and 32 identified targets. A porphyry source at depth is interpreted but undrilled to date. No mineral resource, reserve, economic study or production exists.
Prior-period context not disclosed in today's release includes a FY-2025 operating loss of C$1.45M and a Q1-2026 operating loss of C$2.39M, accompanied by an explicit going-concern flag. The company reported C$5.5M cash and C$5.3M working capital at March 31, 2026, funded by a C$6.52M February 2026 placement. Additionally, ~C$4.79M was raised at C$0.60 in early September 2026.
