Trifecta Gold Introduces the Liam and Lois Projects, East-Central Yukon and Grants Stock Options
Trifecta advances its Yukon project permits and options to support ongoing exploration activities despite lingering dilution risks.

Trifecta Gold Ltd. has introduced the Liam and Lois projects, two of eleven targets within the Tombstone Gold Belt where the company is earning a 100% interest from Strategic Metals Ltd. The company has secured a Quartz Class 1 Notification from the Yukon Government, which permits exploration techniques including diamond drilling. Additionally, a Yukon Mineral Exploration Program (YMEP) grant was awarded for the Lois project, covering up to 50% of eligible expenditures with a maximum of $34,180.
Both projects are situated in the hanging wall of the Robert Service Thrust Fault, underlain by Hyland Group and Gull Lake Formation metasedimentary rock and mid-Cretaceous Mayo Suite intrusions. The geological model targets Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (RIRGS), sharing characteristics with the ML Project and Eagle Gold Mine.
The Liam Project features three precious metal-enriched zones: North, Central, and South Trends. The Central Trend shows peak gold-in-soil values of 574 ppb over a ~2 km strike length. The Neeson Showing returned 2.12 g/t Au, 174 g/t Ag, 0.51% Cu, 5.84% Pb, 2.59% Zn, and 4.1% Sb. The Gallagher Showing yielded up to 1.8 g/t Au.
The Lois Project hosts two soil geochemical anomalies with peak gold-in-soil values of 873 ppb. Rock sampling returned up to 1.1 g/t Au, 0.40% Cu, and 240 ppm Bi. A continuous chip sample across a calc-silicate skarn horizon returned 1.57 g/t Au over 4.5 m.
In corporate action, Trifecta Gold Ltd. granted up to 1,560,000 incentive stock options to directors, officers, and consultants at an exercise price of $0.20 per share, vesting quarterly over five years.
Trifecta Gold Ltd. (TG) announced routine, incremental progress consistent with its strategy to advance its Tombstone Gold Belt portfolio. The company secured a Class 1 permit and a YMEP grant, steps expected to facilitate regulatory compliance and provide financial resources for exploration mobilization.
Additionally, the company granted stock options as a standard compensation mechanism, introducing minor dilution. The $0.20 exercise price aligns with recent trading levels and the pricing of a recent private placement.
The announcement did not disclose new drill results, resource estimates, or financial breakthroughs. This update aligns with previous expectations of systematic exploration advancement following the June/July 2026 financing.
Trifecta Gold Ltd. is a Canadian-based precious metals exploration company focused on the Tombstone Gold Belt in Yukon, Canada. The company’s flagship project is the Rye Property, where the maiden 2025 drill program intersected 1.02 g/t Au over 37 meters and a high-grade silver intercept of 1,465 g/t Ag over 1.97 meters.
The exploration model targets Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (RIRGS), leveraging a proven geological framework that has produced multiple >4 moz deposits in the region. Trifecta Gold holds an option to earn 100% interest in 11 projects in the belt, including Mt. Hinton, Lance, Liam, and Lois, subject to a 2% NSR royalty. Management emphasizes a tight share structure, high insider ownership, and an award-winning technical team with a track record of major Yukon discoveries.
