Trifecta Gold Announces Drill Results from Rye Project, Yukon

Trifecta’s Rye project confirms broad zones, though grades lagged the maiden program.

Executive Summary

Trifecta Gold Ltd. (TG) has announced assay results from its 2026 drill campaign at the Rye Project, located in the Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt. The program completed 1,852 meters across six holes.

  • Hole RY-26-07 returned a 39.97-meter interval averaging 0.28 g/t Au, including a higher-grade nested interval of 19.93 meters averaging 0.39 g/t Au.
  • Hole RY-26-11 intersected the Empire Fault, returning 1.02 meters at 0.19 g/t Au and 7.39 meters of sulfide-rich rock.
  • Hole RY-26-08 reached the fault but failed to cut fully through it; the last two samples returned high silver values of 24.7 g/t and 39.3 g/t Ag.

Holes RY-26-10 and RY-26-12 returned no significant results, and RY-26-09 did not intersect the target structure. Management stated the company will now shift focus to other prospects within its recently acquired portfolio. This release follows the October 13, 2026 completion of the acquisition of 11 Yukon projects from Strategic Metals Ltd.

Material Impact

Trifecta Gold Ltd. (TG) designed its 2026 Rye program to follow up on geochemical vectors and structural data from the maiden 2025 program, aiming to target higher-temperature, higher-grade zones. The results are consistent with the Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold System (RIRGS) model, confirming broad sheeted veining and multi-element geochemistry.

However, the reported gold grades of 0.28 g/t Au over approximately 40m are materially lower than the maiden program's high-grade intercepts, which included 1.98 g/t Au over 15m and 44.3 g/t Au over 0.58m. While the width is encouraging for a bulk-tonnage target, the lack of higher-grade cores suggests the drill holes may still be sampling the periphery of the hydrothermal system.

Company Overview

Trifecta Gold Ltd. (TG) is a Canadian exploration-stage company focused on precious metals in the Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt. Its flagship asset is the Rye Project, which targets Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (RIRGS) characterized by sheeted quartz veining and gold-bismuth-tellurium cores.

In October 2026, the company expanded its portfolio by completing the earn-in of 11 projects from Strategic Metals Ltd. The acquired properties, which include Mt. Hinton, Lance, Liam, Lois, Husky, and Naws, cover approximately 30,000 hectares. Trifecta Gold holds a 2% Net Smelter Return (NSR) royalty on the acquired properties and has the option to purchase an additional 1% NSR for 1,500 ounces of gold or cash equivalent.
