Trifecta Gold Secures Multi-Year Permit and Announces Commencement of 2026 Drill Program at the Rye Project, Yukon
Trifecta resumes drilling at its Rye Project following the acquisition of a new permit and fresh capital.

Trifecta Gold Ltd. has secured a ten-year exploration permit from the Government of Yukon for the Rye Property and has commenced its 2026 drill program, with a contracted minimum of 1,500 meters of diamond drilling. The program targets two primary geological features identified during the 2025 maiden program: a broad gold-bearing hydrothermal system and an adjacent high-grade polymetallic vein system.
Re-analysis of 2025 drill core revealed high-temperature alteration, bismuthinite, and a syenogranite dyke, indicating proximity to the buried intrusive source of a Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold System (RIRGS). Management views the 2025 results as the outer margins of a larger system and aims to systematically close in on the hotter, gold-rich core in 2026.
Trifecta Gold Ltd. (TG) has secured permit approval, removing a regulatory hurdle that allows the company to execute its planned 1,500-meter drilling program without delay. This development follows the maiden 2025 drill results, which returned broad gold intercepts and high-grade silver-tungsten zones, representing a logical progression in the company’s exploration efforts.
The initiative is funded by a $1.66 million private placement that closed on July 3, 2026, directly supporting this exploration phase. While the announcement confirms management's exploration thesis, it remains incremental as it does not yet deliver economic mineralization or resource estimates. The market has already priced in the financing and the anticipated drilling start, with the news serving to validate the exploration timeline rather than introduce a new catalyst.
Trifecta Gold Ltd. (TG) is a Canadian-based precious metals exploration company focused on the Tombstone Gold Belt in Yukon, Canada. Its flagship asset is the Rye Project, located 14 km from the North Canol Road and situated between the Itsi and Itsi East plutons. The company holds an earn-in agreement to acquire 100% ownership of this property.
Geologically, the company is targeting Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (RIRGS), which are characterized by sheeted quartz veining, gold-bismuth-tellurium cores, and proximity to Cretaceous-age plutons. In addition to its flagship project, Trifecta Gold holds a secondary project at Mt. Hinton, located near the Keno Hill Quartzites. This site features historic high-grade surface samples and recent trenching results. The company also holds options to earn interests in 11 highly prospective projects within the Tombstone Gold Belt.
