Orosur Mining Inc - El Pantano Project Developing

Orosur’s El Pantano drilling confirms an epithermal system with sub-economic grades, while APTA intercepts deliver significantly higher material grades.

Executive Summary

Orosur Mining Inc. has completed its maiden drilling campaign at the El Pantano gold-silver project in Argentina, securing 100% ownership of the asset following a US$3 million investment over five years. The program consisted of 24 diamond drill holes totaling 5,533 meters.

Results from the western sector identified three gold-bearing vein-corridor holes. Drill hole DH_ELP003 returned 18.0 meters at 0.46 g/t Au, including a higher-grade interval of 4.9 meters at 0.79 g/t. Hole DH_ELP018 intersected 27.12 meters at 0.20 g/t Au, with narrower sub-intervals of 0.85 meters at 0.71 g/t and 0.4 meters at 1.13 g/t. Hole DH_ELP023 reported 27.0 meters at 0.14 g/t, 23.6 meters at 0.13 g/t, and 20.7 meters at 0.12 g/t.

In contrast, the eastern sector yielded only pathfinder geochemistry, specifically arsenic, with no gold assays reported. A NI 43-101 technical report was filed on July 13, 2026. Orosur interprets the deposit as a vertically zoned low-sulphidation epithermal system and plans to initiate a next-phase drilling program.

Material Impact

Orosur Mining Inc. (OMI) reported that the recent news does not alter the value of its portfolio. The El Pantano project remains in the early stages, with results indicating a working but uneconomic gold system; the company is years away from defining any potential resource.

More significant news flow originates from the Anza project in Colombia, specifically APTA hole MAP107, which returned 135.5 m @ 1.91 g/t, including high-grade intervals. This target demonstrates far greater grade-thickness and continuity potential.

Company Overview

Orosur Mining Inc. (OMI) is a junior gold explorer dual-listed on the TSX-V and AIM. Its flagship Anzá Project in Colombia’s Mid-Cauca belt hosts the Pepas deposit, which contains a maiden 201 koz Au indicated resource, and the APTA prospect, where recent drilling has returned broad high-grade intercepts. The company also owns the El Pantano project in Santa Cruz, Argentina, which it now holds 100% of following a JV earn-in, and has withdrawn from Nigeria lithium exploration.

The company generates no revenue, with funding coming entirely from equity placements. Latest financials for Q3 2026 show $13.7 M in cash and a net loss of $6.6 M for the nine months, accompanied by a going-concern warning.
