Mineralisation Extends at El Cedro

Orosur reports El Cedro hole 1 intersecting 267 metres at 0.65 g/t gold.

Executive Summary

Orosur Mining Inc. (OMI) has released assay results for the first 267.4 meters of the initial drill hole at the El Cedro gold/copper porphyry target within its Anzá project in Colombia. This data completes the full-hole assays for hole CED001, the top 61.35 meters of which were previously announced on September 15, 2026.

The composite results for CED001 show 267.4 meters at 0.65 g/t Au from surface, with the entire interval mineralized and ending in mineralization that remains open at depth. Significant intercepts within this interval include 46.3 meters at 1.0 g/t Au from 19.2 meters, 28.25 meters at 1.01 g/t Au from 118.75 meters, and 22.2 meters at 1.01 g/t Au from 225.2 meters. A higher-grade zone of 2.15 meters at 3.89 g/t Au was encountered from 232.25 meters, situated within the 22.2-meter zone. The executive summary rounds the 46.3-meter interval to 46.4 meters.

The hole was terminated prematurely at 267 meters against a planned depth of 500 meters due to rig and operational issues. A replacement hole, CED001A, is positioned alongside and will drill the first 260 meters with no core recovery, followed by core sampling from 260 meters to 500 meters. Multi-element assays, including copper, are pending as there is no ICP-MS facility in Colombia, requiring samples to be sent abroad with a long turnaround time.

In corporate news, the Programa de Trabajos y Obras (PTO) for the Pepas deposit is complete, and consultation with the ANM is set to begin. The release notes that the PTO's technical and commercial details cannot be published because a PTO is not NI 43-101 compliant.

Material Impact

Orosur Mining Inc. (OMI) is an exploration-stage developer with a maiden 219,000 oz Pepas resource and essentially no production. For a company at this stage, a first-ever hole defining a new, large system is significant news.

The key question is what is genuinely new versus the September 15 discovery release. On September 15, the market learned that CED001 returned 61.35m @ 0.93 g/t Au (including 42.15m @ 1.02 g/t) and remained open. The stock gapped from $0.26 to $0.42 in the days around that news, then round-tripped to $0.27 by October 13 — a full give-back. The discovery anchor is not embedded; the market has effectively re-priced El Cedro back to where it was before the discovery.

The information increment today is that the hole is mineralized over 267m, not 61m, but the composite grade drops from 0.93 to 0.65 g/t. The high-grade sub-zone (46.3m @ 1.0 g/t) is essentially the same zone previously highlighted, barely longer. The system is 4.4x longer, at lower average grade, in the same hole, still open, and still un-assayed for copper. That is a genuine scale increment but not a grade increment, and not a new hole.

The net effect on the thesis is that it modestly enlarges the perceived scale of El Cedro but does nothing to establish grade, true width, copper content, or economics. It does not change the Pepas-driven core thesis. It is a modestly positive, expected/incremental update.

Company Overview

Orosur Mining Inc. (TSXV: OMI; AIM: OMI) is a pre-revenue explorer and developer led by CEO Brad George and Executive Chairman Louis Castro. The company holds 100% ownership of the Anzá Project in Colombia’s Mid-Cauca gold belt through Minera Anzá and Minera Monte Aguila. The project covers approximately 530km², comprising 170km² granted and 360km² in applications. It features three prospects: Pepas, Apta, and El Cedro.

On February 10, 2026, Orosur announced a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Pepas prospect, which is situated within a conceptual open pit designed at a US$3,000/oz gold price and a 0.92 g/t cutoff. The MRE includes 1.14Mt @ 5.46 g/t Indicated resources for approximately 201,000 oz, plus 0.19Mt @ 2.99 g/t Inferred resources for approximately 18,000 oz. The Apta prospect is a large epithermal system with approximately 40,000m of historical drilling but no MRE yet. El Cedro is a new porphyry discovery where the first hole has been reported.

In Argentina, Orosur owns the El Pantano Project in the Deseado Massif, covering approximately 550km². The company earned 100% ownership of the asset, where a first drilling programme of approximately 5,500m across 24 holes defined a low-sulphidation epithermal system. Assays from this programme have been low-grade to date. The project carries a 2% NSR to the vendor, which is buyable for US$1M at 1%.

Regarding its capital structure, Orosur has approximately 452 million shares outstanding following a C$16M placement that closed in early October 2026. The placement consisted of 50M units at C$0.32, each including half a warrant at US$0.32. For the fiscal year ending May 31, 2026, the company reported a net loss of US$5.95M and held US$9.95M in cash at year-end. The MD&A included going-concern language, and a presentation indicated approximately $6.5M in cash.
