Orosur Mining Inc Announces Closing of Private Placement for C$16 Million
Orosur closes C$16 million financing to extend its cash runway for exploration activities in Colombia.

Orosur Mining Inc. announced the closing of its previously announced best-efforts private placement, raising gross proceeds of C$16,000,000, including the full exercise of the agent's over-allotment option. The offering consisted of 50,000,000 units priced at C$0.32 per unit.
Net proceeds are designated for advancing the Anzá exploration project in Colombia and general working capital, with funds expected to last through late 2027. Each unit includes one common share and one-half of a common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant allows the purchase of one share at US$0.32 for 24 months. Total common shares in issue will increase to 452,196,324 following the offering.
Applications for admission to the London Stock Exchange's AIM market and block listing for warrant underlying shares have been submitted. Closing remains subject to final TSX Venture Exchange approval.
Orosur Mining Inc. has closed on a previously announced and oversubscribed financing, an expected incremental event that brings no new operational or financial surprises. The transaction provides approximately C$16 million ($11.8 million USD) in liquidity, extending the company’s cash runway into late 2027 and directly addressing the going concern uncertainty flagged in the Management’s Discussion and Analysis.
The offering is dilutive, increasing the share count by approximately 12.4% from the prior period. Additionally, 25,000,000 warrants were issued, representing a further ~5.5% potential dilution if fully exercised. The stock price closed at $0.29 on the announcement date, reflecting a muted market reaction typical of routine financing closings in the exploration sector.
The news aligns with previous expectations set by the September 22 announcement and the September 25 oversubscription update. It confirms management's ability to raise capital in current market conditions but highlights the company's continued reliance on equity markets for survival.
Orosur Mining Inc. is a pre-revenue mineral explorer focused on the Anzá gold project in Colombia and the El Pantano gold/silver project in Argentina. The company’s flagship Pepas deposit, located within the Anzá Project, saw a maiden NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate declared in February 2026. This estimate includes 1.14 million tonnes at 5.46 g/t Au (Indicated) containing approximately 201,000 oz of gold, plus 0.19 million tonnes at 2.99 g/t Au (Inferred) containing approximately 18,000 oz of gold.
Pepas is advancing into feasibility and permitting stages. Concurrently, the company is exploring extensions such as Pepas West and new targets including the El Cedro porphyry and the APTA epithermal system.
In Argentina, the El Pantano project reached 100% ownership following the completion of a $3 million JV earn-in. First drilling totaling approximately 5,500 meters identified a major low-sulphidation epithermal system, with a 2% NSR royalty retained by vendors. The Anzá footprint covers approximately 530 km² in the Mid-Cauca gold belt, while El Pantano covers approximately 550 km² in the Deseado Massif.
