Trinity One Metals Identifies Historic High Grade Silver Intercepts at Silver-1 Including 2.60 m at 1,240 g/t Silver
Trinity One reports historic bonanza silver grades without disclosed true widths or independent verification.

Trinity One Metals Ltd. (TOM) has compiled and interpreted data from six historic diamond core holes drilled in 1978 at the Silver-1 Mine in Ecuador. The data, recovered from the archives of the Instituto Geológico y Minero del Ecuador (IIGE), lacks independent verification, modern resampling, and quality assurance or quality control protocols, and the analytical methods used are incomplete.
The analysis highlights a principal interval in hole SB-18, which returned 2.60 meters at 1,240 grams per tonne silver, 1.57% lead, and 3.08% zinc from 152.15 meters downhole, corresponding to a vertical depth of 107.6 meters. This interval includes a 0.25-meter section assaying 8,002 grams per tonne silver, 7.80% lead, and 11.70% zinc.
Other holes reported narrow, high-grade silver-lead-zinc intercepts. Specific results include SB-19, which returned 0.50 meters at 2,076 grams per tonne silver, and SB-20, which reported 5.45 meters at 217 grams per tonne silver. These intersections indicate that mineralization extends beneath the historical maximum mining depth of approximately 90 meters, with several intersections occurring at vertical depths between 107 and 116 meters.
Trinity One Metals Ltd. (TOM) is a pre-resource explorer with no mineral resource, no revenue, and a market cap of approximately C$6.7 million. The company’s acquisition of Silver-1 was priced partly based on a historic exploration target of 200–700 kt at 15–25 oz/t Ag. Today’s release adds specific drill intercepts that align with, but do not exceed, that broad grade range.
For the market, this is not genuinely new information. The company already held the historic data; the release is a promotional repackaging of old numbers into eye-catching single-hole highlights. The price chart shows the stock has collapsed from the acquisition/financing hype peak of C$0.45 to C$0.10, erasing all gains and returning to pre-acquisition levels. This suggests the market is deeply skeptical of the company’s ability to convert historic data into value. A release of unverified historic intercepts is unlikely to change that sentiment materially.
Trinity One Metals Ltd. (TOM) is a junior explorer with projects in Ecuador, Mongolia, and Australia. Its Ecuadorian asset is the Silver-1 mine, a past-producing high-grade silver-lead-zinc operation. In Mongolia, the company holds the Victory Copper Project, where approximately 600 meters of drilling has been completed and is awaiting assay results. The company also maintains early-stage projects in Australia, specifically in the Gawler and Western Wood regions.
The company has a market capitalization of approximately C$6.7 million. Its fully diluted share count is significantly higher due to 26.7 million warrants priced at $0.30 and 2.8 million options also priced at $0.30, alongside reserves set aside for an incentive plan. Trinity One generates no revenue and holds no mineral resources or reserves, relying entirely on equity raises for funding. The latest raise generated C$5.34 million at a price of C$0.20 per unit, which included half-warrants and full warrants exercisable at $0.30, creating a substantial warrant overhang.
Management and directors own approximately 15% of the company on a diluted basis following the October 2025 raise. CEO Thomas Wood owns approximately 6% of the shares on an undiluted basis.
