Trinity Silver Selects Drilling Contractor for Initial 700 Metre Programme at Nueva Chanarcillo, Chile
Trinity One selected a drilling contractor for a 700m program at Nueva Chanarcillo and signed an option for the El Nevado project.

Trinity Silver Corp. has selected a drilling contractor to begin an initial 700-metre diamond core programme at its Nueva Chanarcillo Silver Project in Chile. Mobilization is scheduled for mid-October 2026, with drilling operations expected to commence before October 20, 2026. The initial programme targets historical high-grade silver mineralization, specifically around Atna Resources Ltd.'s 2002 drill hole C02-R11, which reported 2.0 metres at 2,390 g/t silver. The company also plans to conduct an induced polarisation (IP) geophysics survey to complement a recently completed drone magnetic survey.
Separately, on October 13, 2026, Trinity Silver announced a definitive option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the El Nevado Gold & Silver project in Chile's Maricunga belt. The deal requires US$7 million over five years, plus a US$3 million production bonus and a 3.1% NSR royalty. These announcements follow the August 2026 acquisition of the Juan Godoy property (Nueva Chanarcillo) and continue the company's strategic expansion in Chile's historic silver districts.
Trinity One Metals Ltd. (TOM) has selected a drilling contractor, a routine execution step following the company’s August 2026 property acquisition. This move confirms management's stated timeline and demonstrates operational progress without introducing new surprises.
The El Nevado option agreement expands the company's Chilean portfolio into the prolific Maricunga gold belt. The agreement carries a US$7 million cost over five years, which is manageable relative to the company's current cash position of approximately $5.0 million CAD, though it will require disciplined capital allocation.
The news is expected and incremental. It does not materially alter the company's near-term financial outlook or valuation, but it validates the exploration thesis and maintains shareholder interest. There is no material deviation from previous expectations, as the market likely priced in these steps during the August acquisition announcement.
Trinity One Metals Ltd. (formerly Trinity Silver Corp.) is a junior exploration company focused on precious and base metal projects in Chile, Ecuador, Mongolia, and Australia. Its flagship asset is the Silver-1 Mine in Ecuador, a past-producing, high-grade silver-lead-zinc vein system. Historical data suggests potential tonnage of 200,000 to 700,000 tonnes grading 15-25 oz/t silver. The company is currently advancing a systematic verification program to develop a modern NI 43-101 resource estimate.
The company is also expanding its Chilean portfolio with the Nueva Chanarcillo (Juan Godoy) project and the newly optioned El Nevado project. Both assets target high-grade historical silver/gold mineralization in the Atacama and Maricunga regions. Management is led by CEO Thomas Wood and Director Dr. Carlos Arias, with a focus on leveraging historical data and modern exploration techniques.
