VIZSLA COPPER PROVIDES EXPLORATION UPDATE FROM THE 2026 DIAMOND DRILL PROGRAM AT THE PALMER VMS PROJECT IN ALASKA
Vizsla identified visual massive sulphides at the Palmer VMS deposit during a routine drill update without releasing assay results.

Vizsla Copper Corp. (VCU) is advancing its 2026 diamond drill program at the Palmer VMS project in Alaska, utilizing two rigs to target the South Wall Zone. The company has completed five holes totaling 2,242 meters of the planned 10,000-meter program. Initial drilling focused on Zone 1, where intersections included 49.2 meters of sulphide mineralization with an estimated true thickness of 39 meters. This interval encompasses thick copper-rich and zinc-rich massive sulphide sections, specifically 14 meters of massive copper-rich sulphide, though precise intervals and true widths for the massive portion remain undefined in the current data.
Assays are currently pending, with the latest release limited to visual observations rather than analytical results. The company reports no metal grades, cutoffs, or analytical data at this stage. Following the completion of work at the South Wall Zone, drilling operations will shift to regional targets, including the HG and Waterfall prospects.
Vizsla Copper Corp. (VCU) released news regarding visual sulphides at its Palmer project, a development that does not alter the company’s resource estimate or project economics. The high-grade nature of Palmer and its associated resources are already well understood by the market, meaning the visual update does not change the underlying investment thesis.
The company’s stock closed at $1.13 on July 17, a price that already reflects the Poplar porphyry discovery and the Palmer acquisition. Consequently, a visual update provided without accompanying assay grades is unlikely to impact the share price. This type of news flow is typical for junior explorers, serving to demonstrate field activity during periods when assay results are pending.
Vizsla Copper Corp. is a Canadian junior explorer focused on copper and critical metals. Its flagship Palmer VMS Project in Alaska is 100% owned and represents an advanced-stage Cu-Zn-Ag-Au-barite deposit with indicated resources of 4.77 Mt @ 1.69% Cu, 5.17% Zn and inferred 12.0 Mt @ 0.57% Cu, 3.92% Zn. Historic high-grade intercepts exceed 10% CuEq, and the project sits on a large land package with permits in place.
The company holds an option to earn a 100% interest in the Poplar Project in British Columbia, which hosts the Thira porphyry Cu-Mo discovery. Intercepts include 675 m @ 0.40% CuEq and 435 m @ 0.49% CuEq. This large, near-surface system is open in multiple directions.
Vizsla also owns 100% of the Woodjam Project in BC, which features copper-gold porphyry targets at Deerhorn, Three Firs, and Great Plains. An 8,000 m program is currently underway at this site. Additionally, the company owns the Copperview Project in BC, which is permit-ready with a maiden drill program planned for fall 2026.
The company closed a $44 M private placement in Dec 2025, fully funding 2026 exploration. Management is led by Craig Parry (Chairman & CEO) and Steve Blower (VP Exploration).
