FireFox Gold Drills 6.15m at 4.10 g/t Gold at Gabbro Target, Further Expanding Gold Footprint at Mustajarvi Project, Lapland, Finland
FireFox reports a new gabbro hit extending the strike, although the resulting grade-width product remains modest.

FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) reported four new drill holes from its Mustajärvi project, comprising two at the Gabbro Target and two at the previously undrilled Triangle Target. The company stated that true width has not yet been estimated for these intervals, which are reported as core width.
Hole 26MJ057 returned 6.15 m at 4.10 g/t Au from 221.0 m, including 1.05 m at 14.65 g/t Au from 224.15 m, using a 0.3 g/t cutoff. Hole 26MJ058 returned 2.25 m at 1.70 g/t Au from 124.0 m, plus 1.0 m at 0.97 g/t Au from 141.0 m and 0.9 m at 0.57 g/t Au from 143.9 m.
At the Triangle Target, Hole 26MJ037 returned 2.7 m at 2.15 g/t Au from 72.3 m, including 0.95 m at 3.58 g/t Au. Hole 26MJ036 returned 1.0 m at 2.80 g/t Au from 108.0 m.
The company said the new Gabbro hit extends the strike extent of gold-bearing drill holes along the Mustajärvi Shear Zone to more than 2.5 km. Total project drilling is now 31,070 m.
FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) is a pre-resource explorer with no revenue and a market capitalization of approximately C$24 million, based on a share price of C$0.48 and roughly 50.0 million shares outstanding. At this stage, the company’s equity is not underpinned by a resource, reserves, or mine plan, meaning new mineralized targets primarily affect optionality.
The company’s Gabbro Target has produced its first meaningful high-grade intercept following previous limited results, while the Triangle Target has confirmed a new north-south structure with two low-grade holes. The FLEM/BHEM vector remains a genuine exploration lead.
The stock traded from C$0.50 on 15-Sep-2026 to C$0.85 on 18-Sep-2026, before fading to C$0.48 by 4-Nov-2026. The Lammas anchor is therefore not embedded at the current price, as the market has already given back most of that move.
With the stock near its 52-week low and no embedded high-grade expectation, a modest positive result can still be received constructively. However, 25.2 g.m at Gabbro and 5.8 g.m at Triangle are not a step change in the known scale or grade of Mustajärvi. The release supports the exploration case and justifies follow-up drilling, but does not reset the resource thesis on its own.
FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) is a TSX Venture-listed gold explorer focused on Finland’s Central Lapland Greenstone Belt. Its flagship asset is the 100%-owned Mustajärvi project, which covers approximately 7.8 km² along the Venejoki Thrust Zone and Mustajärvi Shear Zone. The company also holds other assets, including Sarvi, located immediately north of Agnico Eagle’s Ikkari deposit; Jeesiö; and the large Kolho property, which has been optioned to Agnico Eagle. Under the terms of the option, Agnico Eagle can earn a 51% interest by spending US$5 million by year five and an additional 24% by spending US$7.5 million by year eight.
Mustajärvi is currently pre-resource, with the company conducting infill and step-out drilling in preparation for a maiden mineral resource estimate expected in early 2027. There are no reserves, economic studies, or production guidance at this stage. The company’s capital structure comprises approximately 49.9 million shares outstanding, 29.4 million warrants, and 4.7 million options, resulting in roughly 84.0 million fully diluted shares. Agnico Eagle is a cornerstone shareholder, holding approximately 11% of the company.
In prior-period financial context not disclosed in today’s release, FireFox Gold reported a Q1-2026 operating loss of C$2.14 million. Exploration spending for the quarter was C$1.52 million, compared to C$0.18 million in Q1-2025, with cash holdings of C$1.97 million at 31-Mar-2026. The company subsequently raised approximately C$6.7 million gross in a placement in June 2026.
