Inventus Commences 6,000-Metre, 155-Hole Phase 3 Drill Program at Pardo
Inventus expands the Pardo footprint with Phase 3 drilling ahead of a November maiden resource estimate.

Inventus Mining Corp. has initiated Phase 3 drilling at its 100%-owned Pardo "River of Gold" Project in Sudbury, Ontario. The program comprises approximately 6,000 metres distributed across 155 holes, expanding the tested area from 1.2 km² to 3.55 km². Drilling targets the continuation of multiple gold-bearing conglomerate layers, specifically the Main Layer and the sulphide-rich Matinenda Conglomerate.
The company aims to deliver a maiden mineral resource estimate by mid-November 2026, based on final Phase 2 assay results and the new Phase 3 data. Metallurgical strategy includes evaluating ore sorting to upgrade sulphide-rich material into a higher-grade gold-sulphide concentrate for direct shipping or regional smelters. Approximately 10,000 tonnes of bulk sample material are currently stockpiled, with an additional 20,000 tonnes permitted for extraction. Regulatory work is ongoing toward tailings placement approval and long-term processing opportunities.
Inventus Mining Corp. (IVS) has commenced Phase 3 drilling, an expected incremental step in its previously communicated exploration roadmap. The company’s target for a maiden resource estimate remains mid-November 2026, aligning with prior guidance and representing no surprise acceleration or delay.
The current phase focuses on testing the Matinenda Conglomerate and evaluating ore sorting, building on positive Phase 2 results and metallurgical testwork announced in August 2026. No new financial metrics, financing terms, or strategic partnerships were disclosed in the update.
Inventus Mining Corp. is focused on the Pardo "River of Gold" project, a shallow, flat-lying paleoplacer gold system located 65 km northeast of Sudbury, Ontario. The project features multiple stacked gold-bearing layers: the Main Conglomerate (MiBC), Upper Conglomerate (MiPC), Matinenda Conglomerate (MaC), and Lower/Upper Sandstone.
The development strategy centers on Direct-Ship Ore (DSO) production, leveraging bulk sampling to generate immediate cash flow while advancing toward a maiden resource and a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) targeted for Q4 2027. In August 2026, the company acquired the historic Golden Rose Mine, adding a high-grade, underground gold asset 14 km from Pardo to create a district-scale portfolio. The company aims to transition from commercial-scale trial mining to a scalable, low-cost producer by leveraging existing regional milling infrastructure and evaluating on-site heap-leach processing.
