Inventus to Acquire Historic Golden Rose Mine Adding High-Grade Gold Growth Asset 14 km From Pardo
Inventus acquires the Golden Rose Mine, expanding its Pardo District footprint with significant gold grades and resource potential.

Inventus Mining Corp. has entered a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the Belfast-Teck Mag property package, including the past-producing Golden Rose Mine, from Conquest Resources Limited. The transaction expands Inventus' regional land position to 681 km² and adds a high-grade gold asset located 14 km from its flagship Pardo Project.
Consideration for the deal consists of 8,000,000 common shares valued at $0.295 per share and a 2.0% net smelter return (NSR) royalty. Inventus retains an option to buy back 0.5% of the royalty for C$1,000,000.
The Golden Rose Mine operated historically between 1937 and 1941, and again from 1987 to 1988, yielding approximately 52,000 oz of documented gold production. The site includes existing infrastructure such as a shaft, decline ramp, and seven underground levels. Historical drill highlights show high-grade intercepts, including:
- 1.40 m at 165.81 g/t Au
- 2.60 m at 70.76 g/t Au
Future plans include launching a drill program to confirm historic mineralization, advancing toward a NI 43-101 resource estimate, and evaluating staged Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) development potential.
Inventus Mining Corp. (IVS) has completed a strategic, non-cash acquisition of a proven historical asset adjacent to Pardo, a move designed to create potential for district-scale exploration and operational synergies. The transaction involves the issuance of 8 million shares at $0.295, representing approximately 3.8% dilution to the company’s ~211 million share count, a level considered standard for junior mining acquisitions.
The deal includes a 2.0% NSR royalty, a standard industry term, alongside a buyback option that provides future flexibility to reduce long-term cash outflows if the asset proves economic. This transaction aligns with management's stated strategy of leveraging the Pardo platform to build a larger district-scale operation, as previously outlined in 2025/2026 updates. No immediate cash outlay is required, preserving the company's ~$2.27M cash balance (as of Q1 2026) for ongoing drilling and bulk sampling.
Inventus Mining Corp. is focused on the Pardo River of Gold Project, a 100%-owned paleoplacer gold project located approximately 65 km northeast of Sudbury, Ontario. The project is described as North America's first and only verified paleoplacer system, with geology comparable to the Witwatersrand basin. The land package covers 139 km², expanding to 681 km² with the Golden Rose acquisition, and features an 11 km identified mineralized trend.
The company has successfully executed bulk sampling campaigns, demonstrating positive cash flow margins with up to a 102% return on cost and metallurgical recoveries of 85-94%. Management is targeting a maiden resource estimate for Q4 2026 and a production permit by mid-2027, utilizing a mine-and-haul model that leverages regional milling infrastructure.
