Delta Extends I-Zone Gold Mineralization by More than 400 Metres, Thunder Bay, Ontario
Delta’s I-Zone gold extension adds 400m strike, though lab delays cloud near-term catalysts.

Delta Resources Limited (DLTA) has reported initial channel-sampling results that extend known gold mineralization at the I-Zone by over 400 metres eastward at its Delta-1 Gold Project in Ontario. Significant channel intercepts include 4.85 g/t Au over 8.0 metres in Trench D1-26-TR17, and two intervals in Trench D1-26-TR20 totaling 12.6 metres of high-grade gold.
Preliminary outcrop sampling returned values up to 16.1 g/t Au, with hundreds of additional samples pending assay results due to laboratory turnaround delays. The I-Zone remains open along strike in both directions and is largely untested at depth. Mineralization is primarily associated with N-S trending extensional quartz veins hosted within E-W trending felsic dikes.
Management plans to initiate the first phase of drilling at the I-Zone Sector to test the mineralized system along strike and at depth.
Delta Resources Limited (DLTA) has confirmed the eastward continuity of the I-Zone target, validating the company's till survey and geological models established earlier in 2026. This update represents a logical, expected step in the company's 2026 exploration program, which is fully funded by the May 2026 $6.56M charity flow-through and the Troilus Mining option.
While channel sampling results are encouraging, they remain preliminary and are subject to laboratory delays. The true width of the host dikes is narrow, ranging from less than 1 meter to approximately 4 meters, meaning channel samples do not represent the full width of the mineralization. This development does not constitute a material change in the company's financial position or a new discovery, but rather serves as a continuation of the systematic evaluation of a known high-priority target ahead of the planned fall drilling program.
Delta Resources Limited (DLTA) is an exploration-stage gold company focused on the Delta-1 Gold Project in the Shebandowan Greenstone Belt, located approximately 50 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The flagship asset covers approximately 341.6 km² and hosts the Eureka Gold Deposit, which extends over 2.5 km in strike length and to depths exceeding 300 metres, with mineralization intersected to approximately 600 metres vertical depth.
The company is advancing toward a maiden NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate later in 2026, supported by ongoing drilling, metallurgical testing, and environmental baseline studies. Additionally, the I-Zone serves as a high-priority satellite target located approximately 18 km southwest of Eureka, showing strong historical and recent surface sampling potential.
