McEwen Exercises Inventus Warrants and Increases Ownership to 12.7%
McEwen exercises Inventus warrants to increase its stake to 12.7 percent in the project.

McEwen Inc. has exercised warrants to acquire an additional 9,200,000 common shares of Inventus Mining Corporation. The exercise price was CAD$0.12 per share, resulting in an aggregate cash outlay of CAD$1,104,000.
The transaction increased McEwen’s total ownership in Inventus from approximately 9% to 12.7%. The deal was filed as an Early Warning Report under applicable securities laws. Management stated the acquisition is for investment purposes and reserves the right to acquire additional securities or dispose of them in the future.
McEwen Inc. (MUX) is exercising warrants with a nominal cash outlay of CAD$1.1 million, a figure that remains immaterial relative to the company’s $78.9 million cash balance and approximately $1.22 billion market capitalization. The transaction does not alter operational guidance, production profiles, cost structures, or balance sheet leverage.
Following the announcement, the stock experienced a minor intraday movement, dropping $0.40 to close at $20.47. This price action suggests the market views the event as a routine portfolio adjustment rather than a significant catalyst. The news represents a standard corporate action that neither enhances nor detracts from the core investment thesis.
McEwen Inc. (MUX) operates a diversified portfolio of producing and development-stage mining assets across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Argentina. Its core producing assets include the Fox Complex in Timmins, Ontario, the Gold Bar Mine Complex in Nevada, and a 49% interest in the San José Mine in Argentina.
The company’s development-stage projects include the Tartan Mine in Manitoba, the El Gallo Complex in Mexico, and the Los Azules copper project in Argentina, which is held through the 46.3%-owned McEwen Copper subsidiary. McEwen’s long-term strategic goal is to achieve 250,000–300,000 gold equivalent ounces (GEOs) of annual production by 2030.
