Galantas Gold Intends to Move from AIM to Main Market
Galantas upgrades its London Stock Exchange listing to the Main Market, signalling ambitions to operate as a mid-tier producer in the mining sector.

Galantas Gold Corporation (GAL) announced its intention to apply for admission of its Common Shares to the Equity Shares (International Commercial Companies Secondary Listing) segment of the FCA Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc's Main Market. The admission will be executed via an introduction of existing shares, meaning no new capital will be raised and no new securities will be offered.
Trading on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) will be cancelled concurrently with the Main Market admission, expected no earlier than December 4, 2026. The move aligns with the company's broader strategy to graduate from the TSX Venture Exchange to the Toronto Stock Exchange and reflects its evolution toward a mid-tier gold producer. Conditions precedent include FCA approval of a prospectus and formal admission by the LSE. Shareholder approval is not required.
Galantas Gold Corporation (GAL) has announced its transition to the LSE Main Market, a move designed to broaden the institutional investor base and enhance the company's profile within the UK equity market. This development aligns with the company’s stated graduation strategy and follows the substantial capital raise and asset acquisitions completed earlier in 2026.
As a non-capital-raising introduction, the announcement does not immediately alter the company's financial position, operational timeline, or project economics. Instead, it serves as a procedural milestone that supports long-term market accessibility and aligns with the anticipated TSX-V to TSX graduation. The news is considered incremental and expected, reinforcing the company's trajectory without introducing new operational variables or financial commitments.
Galantas Gold Corporation (GAL) is shifting its operational focus from historical assets in Northern Ireland to a dual-asset strategy centered on gold and copper production in Chile. The company’s portfolio includes the Andacollo Gold Project, a past-producing brownfield heap-leach operation located in the Coquimbo region, and the Indiana Project, an underground gold-copper development site in the Atacama region.
Updated mineral resource estimates (MRE) for Andacollo, effective February 2026, report 102.4 million tonnes of Indicated resources grading 0.45 grams per tonne of gold, containing 1.47 million ounces of gold. Additionally, the project holds 347.9 million tonnes of Inferred resources at 0.41 grams per tonne of gold, equating to 4.54 million ounces of gold. Galantas targets a restart for Andacollo in the first half of 2027, utilizing existing infrastructure and a newly acquired 20,000 tonnes per day crushing plant. The company has secured all key regulatory approvals for the restart and is currently advancing engineering, mine planning, and drilling programs for the asset.
The Indiana Project, located in the Atacama region, features an MRE effective December 2025, which outlines 4.93 million tonnes of Inferred resources grading 2.24 grams per tonne of gold and 1.31% copper. This resource base contains 355,516 ounces of gold and 64,690 tonnes of copper. Galantas aims to bring Indiana into production by the end of 2026, with an estimated development capital expenditure of US$10 million. The company is simultaneously advancing engineering, mine planning, and drilling programs for the Indiana Project.
