Sitka Gold Drills 41.7 Metres of 2.20 g/t Gold from Surface, Including 1.2 Metres of 53.10 g/t Gold, Within 74.8 Metres of 1.31 g/t Gold, Confirming High-Grade Mineralization at the Contact Zone, RC Gold Project, Yukon
Sitka reports 41.7 m of 2.20 g/t from surface at its Contact deposit.

Sitka Gold Corp. (SIG) has released assay results from two drill holes completed as part of its 60,000-meter 2026 program at the RC Gold project. The company did not provide a cut-off grade, true width calculations, top-cut or capping statements, or a dedicated quality assurance and quality control paragraph in the release.
Results from the Contact Zone target include hole DDRCCC-26-162, which intersected 74.8 meters at 1.31 grams per tonne of gold from surface. This interval included 41.7 meters at 2.20 grams per tonne of gold, which further contained 1.2 meters at 53.10 grams per tonne of gold. The Contact Zone is described as a mineralized footprint measuring approximately 900 meters by 650 meters, extending to a depth of 400 meters and open in all directions. The mineralization is hosted in feldspar-megacrystic quartz monzonite dykes and metasediments featuring sheeted quartz veins, arsenopyrite, bismuthinite, and visible gold.
At the Bear Paw Zone, hole DDRCCC-26-160 returned 48.6 meters at 1.18 grams per tonne of gold, including 1.8 meters at 4.27 grams per tonne of gold. The company noted this interval falls within a broader 74.0-meter section at 0.81 grams per tonne of gold starting from 31.0 meters depth. The Bear Paw Zone is characterized as a 1.5-kilometer by 750-meter gold-in-soil anomaly containing a 200-meter by 500-meter altered and brecciated zone, with mineralization extending from the surface to approximately 200 meters depth.
Assays are still pending for 82 diamond drill holes, totaling approximately 27,000 meters, across the Blackjack, Saddle, Eiger, Rhosgobel, Pukelman-Contact, and Bear Paw targets. Gilles Dessureau, P.Geo., Vice President of Exploration, serves as the Qualified Person for the project. Sitka Gold’s mineral resources remain unchanged at 1,291,000 ounces of Indicated and 3,829,000 ounces of Inferred material.
Sitka Gold Corp. (SIG) reported financial results for the fiscal year ended 2025, showing cash holdings of C$44.6 million, total equity of C$85.0 million, and a net loss of C$5.9 million. The company recorded a book value of approximately C$0.20 per share, with exploration capital expenditure totaling C$18.6 million and financing inflows of C$50.7 million. An investor presentation indicated cash reserves of C$25.0 million as of August 1, 2026, against 433.9 million shares outstanding and no interest-bearing debt. At a share price of C$0.84, the company’s equity value stands at approximately C$364 million, resulting in an enterprise value of roughly C$339 million against a mineral resource of 5.12 million ounces. This valuation equates to approximately C$66 per ounce for a resource that is 75% Inferred and lacks an economic study.
The company’s RC Gold project, previously defined as a three-deposit system containing 5.12 million ounces, has expanded through 2025 and 2026 work. This activity confirms a fourth mineralized center at Contact/Pukelman, characterized by a 900 x 650 meter footprint extending to approximately 400 meters depth, and a fifth candidate at Bear Paw, spanning 200 x 500 meters from the surface to approximately 200 meters depth. Both targets exhibit grades at or above the level underpinning the existing resource. This expansion represents scale growth within the CCIC, a 5 km x 12 km intrusive complex that includes six additional drill targets, rather than infill drilling within a known shell.
Sitka Gold’s shares are trading at C$0.84, near the 52-week low of C$0.77 and down 29% from the C$1.18 high recorded in May 2026. The stock is also lower than its C$1.10 price a year ago, despite a series of strong assay results, including 348 meters at 1.12 g/t, 236 meters at 1.15 g/t, 141.5 meters at 1.93 g/t, and 256.9 meters at 0.84 g/t. Specific target anchors, such as the November 2025 hole at Contact returning 119.0 meters at 1.01 g/t and the January 2026 hole at Bear Paw returning 21.0 meters at 1.05 g/t, have not been reflected in the share price, which has seen its value round-trip rather than sustain a higher valuation.
As a well-funded explorer with a large defined resource but no economic study, the identification of new mineralized centers alters the perceived scale of the system. The near-term catalyst for value realization remains the updated mineral resource estimate, which is expected to incorporate Pukelman-Contact and Bear Paw as maiden resources, alongside a preliminary economic assessment flagged for early 2027.
Sitka Gold Corp. (TSXV: SIG / OTCQX: SITKF / FSE: 1RF) is a Yukon-focused gold explorer led by Cor Coe, who was named the 2025 Yukon Prospector of the Year, and Gilles Dessureau, who serves as VP Exploration. The company’s board has been strengthened by the addition of Tim Termuende as Chairman and Samantha Shorter as audit committee chair.
The company’s flagship asset is the 100%-owned RC Gold Project, a 447 km² contiguous property located in the Tombstone Gold Belt, approximately 100 km east of Dawson City. The site features year-round gravel-road access, with grid power located roughly 30-32 km away, and includes a valley mill site concept.
The RC Gold Project hosts a mineral resource of 1,291,000 oz Indicated at 1.01 g/t and 3,829,000 oz Inferred. The Inferred resource is broken down as follows: - Blackjack: 1.04 moz at 0.94 g/t - Rhosgobel: 2.25 moz at 0.70 g/t - Eiger: 0.54 moz at 0.52 g/t
All resources are pit-constrained, located at surface, and calculated using a 0.3 g/t cut-off.
Geologically, the project is centered on the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex, which contains 11 known gold-bearing intrusions across a 5 km x 12 km area. Beyond the three deposits, there are six additional drill targets, with Pukelman-Contact and Bear Paw identified as the two most advanced.
Metallurgical testing indicates the ore is non-refractory. Recovery rates for Blackjack and Eiger range from 77.6% to 93% using gravity and cyanidation, while Rhosgobel achieves 94.3% recovery via whole-ore cyanidation. Additionally, Rhosgobel yields 84.7% tungsten in a rougher concentrate at less than 1% mass pull. Tungsten and silver at Rhosgobel were deliberately excluded from the current technical report pending further metallurgical work.
In August 2026, Sitka Gold acquired Clear Creek outright for US$6M in cash plus a 5.0% NSR, which is reducible to 2.0% for an additional US$10M. The company also plans to spin Alpha Gold in Nevada and Burro Creek in Arizona into a Newco.
Prior to the acquisition, Sitka Gold reported C$44.6M in cash and C$85.0M in equity with no debt as of 31 Dec 2025. According to the investor presentation, the company held C$25.0M in cash as of 1 Aug 2026.
